Bushnell Instant Replay 8x30 Digital Binocular (Clamshell Packaging)
The Bushnell Instant Replay 8x30 Digital Binocular is their newest premium model for 2009, and offers the ability to continuously record the most recent 5 to 60 seconds witnessed by the built-in digital camera. That's why they call it the Instant Replay; take it to a sporting event and keep an eye on the action through the binoculars, and at a moment's notice you can just push a button to see a replay of the action on the 1.5" LCD screen.
This newest version of Bushnell's Instant Replay now features a "Sync Focus" system, meaning that you can simultaneously focus the camera and the binoculars view. As a binocular, it is a comfortable 8x30 model with full multicoatings on the optics and 15mm of eye relief.
The 8x30 Instant Replay operates upon 2 "AAA" batteries and accepts SD cards of 2GB or lower. The camera will not function with SD cards of 4GB or higher. The unit is not compatible with "MMC" cards. Bushnell provides a 2-year warranty with this Instant Replay 8x30 unit, and they've also included a small tabletop tripod (the bottom of the unit has a tripod threading).

The binoculars are very good, but the camera takes a lot of work to get decent pictures. On the other hand, it is a great way to share what you see through the binoculars, and the video looping is an amazing feature

I purchased the binoculars to be able to capture what was seen. The camera part of the device has a separate, cheap lens that is not aligned with binocular lenses, and does not follow the focusing for a normal view. As a result, what is viewed in the binocular is not captured in a digital image.
