The new imovie 09 is a lot better than the others. That is mainly why I bought this package. I wish apple sold them separately but oh well, because now I use all the programs in ilife 09.

I bought iLife for Garage Band only but all the new programs are easy and fun to use. I do wish they would sell them individually but that's up to Apple. I use Garage Band to record vocals and instruments and the sound is quality and the price is fair.

I'm stuck on dial-up, so the tutorial's on Apple's site are worthless. You might think they put them with the dvd, but noooo. They did include a dvd (iWork), I put that in the trash. Just try and contact Apple by email... I couldn't!!!! I bought this because I wanted iMovie 09 but now it's gonna take a while to figure out.[...]Save this as an application and have lots of patience....Bottom line, lots of folks like me on dial-up for lots of reasons, so why not make the tutorials available on dvd? Folks at Apple suk!

I upgraded to iLife 09 a few months ago. The problem is the iMovie viewer stopped working. Not just for me but for many others as well. Checkout the discussions in support. [@]This needs to fixed. iMovie is worthless without the viewer.

Great programs, fun to use. GarageBand is a bit hard at first, but once you understand what everything does, it's fairly easy to use. More instructions would have been nice, but I'm sure there are ample instructions on the Internet.
Overall, just an awesome software package!
