The SL30 Digital Camera from Samsung is a compact digital point-and-shoot camera, perfect for frugal consumers. Powered by 2 AA batteries, the camera boasts an impressive 10.2 megapixel resolution. Its 3x optical zoom lens delivers a 35-105mm focal range, great for wide-angle and short-telephoto shooting.

Bought this camera as a Christmas present for my 10 year old grand daughter. I chose the SL30 because of its compact size & simple operation. I also consider it a good value at that price point. As a shutterbug who uses a Nikon D90, I was happily surprised at the quality of the images taken with the SL30. I would recommend this camera to anyone seeking compact size, simple operation & quality images.

I purchased this camera for my six year old niece. So far, so good. The camera is very light, slightly hard to keep stable. The meory that the camera comes with only olds about 15 pics. You must buy a memory card asap. Other than that, the pics are really good. Pretty easy to use. I'm glad I purchased it, looked very hard on a camera for her that she would be able to operate.

Out of all of the cameras that are priced under $80, this seems to be one with great reviews. I chose this for my 8 year old daughter, who would have been disappointed with a "toy". I would have been disappointed with sub par image quality. So far, seems to be a great little camera

We bought this for our daughters birthday. It is easy to use, has a large view screen, and the zoom is great. It basically has all your bells and whistles that 90% of us probably won't ever use anyway. Perfect for the novice user who just wants to basically point and shoot. The only thing I see as of now is that the batteries tend to run down a little quicker than they should. It is wise to use the rechargeable kind. Otherwise, a great little camera
