The SL30 Digital Camera from Samsung is a compact digital point-and-shoot camera, perfect for frugal consumers. Powered by 2 AA batteries, the camera boasts an impressive 10.2 megapixel resolution. Its 3x optical zoom lens delivers a 35-105mm focal range, great for wide-angle and short-telephoto shooting.

The SL30 features a Digital Image Stabilization system to help deliver sharp images, even in low-light conditions. The system compensates for the shaking of your hands in an effort to eliminate motion blur. The camera's Face Detection system automatically focuses on faces, helping you to take better portraits.

The camera's large rear 2.5" LCD screen allows you to easily accurately compose and review images. The camera also has a movie mode, which records video in MPEG4 format, complete with sound.

Comments about Samsung SL30 Digital Camera (Onyx Black):

I've used the camera for family photos, landscapes, and even my wedding. The pictures from the wedding turned out a bit too dark, so the flash does little to help in low light. The image quality is very good for still shots. Anti-shake sometimes works, but if you're already freezing cold and your hands are shaking, the picture's going to come out fuzzy. However, overall I believe the camera is a very well-invested "toy" I use so I can remember valuable moments.

Comments about Samsung SL30 Digital Camera (Onyx Black):

I am a professional photographer and I bought this camera for my 10 year old for Xmas. I did not want to spend to much as kids tend to lose or break expensive stuff. Needless to say it surprised me on how good this little camera was for the price. I might get another one for my niece.
