I use this to sync my archaic Palm Tungsten E2 with my new Windows 7 laptop (the new system no longer allows me to use USB for syncing). I had some initial problems with setting it up which I think were mostly due to the old Palm Pilot. Kensington phone support was easy to reach, polite and helpful, although I had to end up working with Palm to actually resolve the problems (not surprising). The adapter itself is truly tiny enough to leave plugged in all the time!

Just bought an HP laptop that I love but it didn't have bluetooth. I use a bluetooth mouse with it. Ordered this adapter because of it's size. Works great. So small you can leave it in the usb port all the time and not worry about it breaking off. I haven't checked the range because it's not a factor as I always have the mouse close by.

I work in IT and I recently bought an ASUS Laptop that did not have Bluetooth capabilities. This product makes my Laptop have Bluetooth capabilities without being obtrusive. I don't even have to take out the adapter while packing my computer into the bag at the end of the day.

Bought this Bluetooth adapter to use with my Canon 5DII WFT-E2-II to connect to a GPS device. It works great with a few seconds connection time and holds the connection to my QStarz Q1000 GPS Bluetooth logger very stable. I have later used this Bluetooth adapter with a Canon 7D and the WFT-E5A and with a Canon 1D Mark IV with the WFT-E2-II, and they all works fine to connect to the same GPS logger.

Comments about Kensington Bluetooth USB Micro Adapter:
If you have Windows 7, don't use the included disk ! Windows 7 will take care of configuration, etc. Works better than I expected. I can play my bluetooth radio and download photos from my phone at the same time. ( The photos probably move a little slower.) I am glad I didn't buy a cheaper one.
