Comments about Samsung HZ10W Digital Camera (Black):
Image Stabilization, manual control, flash exposures are better with the Samsung than the Panasonic TZ5 which are close equivalents in megapixels, zoom range and price. My only beef is that it occasionally chooses shutter speeds that are too slow rather than increase the ISO in P and auto mode. However, switching to Dual IS mode or manual are available for workarounds.

Comments about Samsung HZ10W Digital Camera (Black):
It's my daily shooter, if I go out the door it's in my pocket. The 24mm lens is great, perfect width for a pocket point and shoot. I find myself leaving it in auto as the buttons are a little confusing, but it still takes the picture I want.
720P Video is OK, I wouldn't use it for much other than youtube.
Remember, the best camera is the one you have with you.

Comments about Samsung HZ10W Digital Camera (Black):
It's wonderful to have such a wide angle lens but the image quality is poor - way too much processing going on. Color balance is good (once you've tweaked the settings) but resolution is poor and textures are mushy. Out of the box the camera creates bizarrely over-saturated pix.
The video part works well: it focuses, zooms and changes exposures while recording. And it's very cool to have a little video camera with such a wide lens.
Apart from the wide lens, the best feature is the easy and quick exposure compensation button.
Like so many of these cameras, low light performance is very noisy.
Image stabilization doesn't function at all when zoomed to telephoto but is pretty good at wider angles.
