Comments about Tiffen 82mm Skylight 1-A Glass Filter:
I don't notice much difference in the picture color with and without but I bought it to protect the lens. It does a great job for a good price! Definitely cheaper to replace a filter than a lens. I have witnessed it first hand when a fellow friend and photographer had a mishap with a tripod. The filter was completely cracked and the glass was in perfect shape. Lesson learned!

Great inexpensive filter to protect your glass. Better to crack a $20 filter than a $700 lens.
