Avenger A0045CS Baby Steel Stand - 14.75' (4.5m)
The Avenger A0045CS Baby Steel Stand has square legs for more stability. The legs and braces are secured by nuts and bolts instead of rivets. This versatile chrome steel stand is quick to set up -- the locking knobs are large and ergonomic -- making it easy for you to lock each section.
This stand has four sections, three risers. It's maximum height is 14.75' (4.5 m). It is best suited for studio setups.

Using some adapters, this is a very effective microphone stand, and cheaper than mic-specific stands. I'm very please and this should last for years to come. No cheap plastic parts. It has some mass to it, which is good for keeping your gear securely weighted to the ground as it hangs above.

I'm using an adapter to make this a mic stand, causing it to be less expensive than other comparable mic stands. Rock solid with none of those cheap plastic parts. This should last for years to come.
