What if your iPod had a 32" screen? No, it's not wishful thinking, it's the JVC LT-32P300 32" TeleDock 1080p HD LCD TV. By adding a second-generation TeleDock docking port to a 1080p HD TV, the engineers at JVC have given the LCD panel virtually all of the capabilities of your favorite music player. Although you can't easily carry the set around with you, you can share your tunes and videos with friends and family on the giant screen.
During music playback, the song title, artist, album, and genre are all displayed on the JVC's TV screen. Menus and list views reflect what's actually on your iPod. And you also can view your iPod photos (or photos from another USB device) while listening to the music on your iPod.
The TeleDock offers four modes when your iPod is connected to the LT-32P300. In TCON mode, you can operate your iPod through the TV screen, which displays the iPod menu, by using the remote control supplied with the TV. In PCON mode, you operate your iPod through the iPod screen, using either the remote control or the iPod itself. In iTV mode, you can listen to your iPod while watching TV, and in Sync mode, you can synchronize the iPod on the TeleDock with iTunes by connecting a PC to the TV via a USB cable.
But wait! The JVC LT-32P300 is also a great HDTV, delivering gorgeous, flicker-free, high-resolution images via its 1080p display. The panel incorporates an advanced color management system, digital comb filter, black level expansion, and dynamic gamma control for unsurpassed video.
With a 20-watt sound system, oblique cone speakers, OmniSurround, and a built-in five-band equalizer, the LT-32P300 produces room-filling audio that does justice to its picture.
The set comes with ATSC and clear-QAM tuners that receive digital over-the-air broadcasts and unscrambled cable signals, along with an ATSC/digital cable input for connecting to an HD signal. To extend your entertainment choices even more, the LT-32P300 features 3 HDMI, 2 component, S-Video, and AV jacks to hook up all of your video equipment. There's even a USB photo viewer that accepts compatible mass storage devices to display photos singly or in a slide show.
Still not enough? Then connect your PC to the JVC LT-32P300 HDTV through its 15-pin PC jack and play your favorite games (or view your PowerPoint slides, if that's what makes your heart race) using the TV as a giant computer monitor.
Add to this feature-laden model a universal remote control, video input labels, closed captioning, V-Chip parental controls, sleep timer, and a graphical user interface that makes operating the LT-32P300 a snap, and you've got a complete entertainment system that's music to your ears.
