Easy to set up and use, great for our minivan so kids in different rows can easily see. Is not battery powered, so it will work at home or in the car but not on a plane. I like that it picks up where it left off even when the power is cut off. Most DVD players are difficult to install in the car securely. This was really easy.

I recently purchased the Impecca Dual Screen DVD player to keep my two year old entertained during a long road trip. I don't think we would have reached our destination without it. The picture was great. It was easy to connect & disconnect the headphones and to change out DVD's. As you can imagine, a 2 yr old makes a lot of requests.

The Velcro strap used for installation was quite handy for me. Combined with the little carrying case, it was a breeze to carry into rest areas, our hotel & friends home. (I don't like leaving electronics visible in the car.)

How we used it for 1 Driver & 1 Child: I had a market basket full of DVDs, snacks & other items that I needed within reach on the front passenger seat. I set the primary unit next to the basket, facing me, with a small towel over it & installed the secondary unit onto the headrest that my son faced. A DVD exchange took less than a minute, as opposed to the 15 - 30 minutes that it took us when we had to find a place to stop, get out of the car, change dvds, go inside to investigate the bathroom, pitch a fit for candy (or toys or cowboy hat) and then load back into the car. (Let me tell you, it took us about 2 hours to go the 1st 60 miles, not fun.) Additionally, if my son asked, "What's that, Momma?" I could lift up the towel, glance over & identify whatever he was asking about. I also liked the separate volume controls & headphone jacks. The volume wasn't a problem for us, I kept the car speakers in the rear turned off & listened to the front speakers for my music or audio books.

I can only think of one improvement that could be made to the units: Add a brightness control/dimmer dial. We had to make one of those 30+ minute stops, at night, so that I could step through the setup screens to reduce the brightness.

All in all, I am very happy with this purchase.

I bought this for my 2 yr old daughter for long car rides and it's been awesome. We've had no problems reading any discs, no problem with volume, no problem with skipping. it's been a great product for the price and has done everything i've needed it to no complaints!

Had high hopes for this system, especially since we had planned to use it for a 10-hour car ride. Wouldn't play regular DVD's, let alone anything with DIVX files. Really and truly a let down.

I got this so the kids could watch movies during a car trip. Even over a bumpy road, it doesn't skip. The kids can change discs out easily themselves. The mounting straps are flimsy, just an elastic band with velcro around the stands, but it gets the job done and it's easy to set up and take down. There is no battery, so it must be plugged into a power source to work (i.e. no airplane use), but it comes with both 12V and 120V adapters. It's well worth the price.

Frustrating. I am returning this to B&H. We could never get the player to recognize that a disc was inserted into the player.

We use this player when traveling to and from our destinations. It is very easy to use and it fits perfectly behind the head rests of our Grand Caravan.

The power supply works great.

The player does NOT contain a battery, so no need to worry about recharging or replacing the battery.

Great screen size and very bright display - equally between both displays.

I picked this unit because it was the only dual-screen display I could find that would play video from a USB stick. And this feature worked great; it saved us from having to change DVDs while we drove on a long car trip with two kids.

The picture quality and sound were what we expected. The video is 16:9 ratio. For better sound, plug into the car radio.

No batteries, so it doesn't resume from the last spot when you lose power. We learned to make note of the time/position of a video before turning off the car; it does have a quick fast forward seek.

Overall, excellent value for the price. Glad we bought it over other brand names.

Bottom line: The price is just right and it works as advertised. Comments: The headrest mounting mounting straps are less than spectacular, but they work. The travel bag could have been better, but it too does a decent job (i.e. it holds everything). The screen resolution is not spectacular, but passable. A/V input to the second screen with standard connectors would have been nice, but on the other hand, the included cable to connect the second screen seems to be robust (I had problems with a different player). I really appreciated some of the more obscure features like a USB port (videos, pictures, etc.) and playing DivX files (from a CD, DVD, or USB).

At first I was skeptical about buying a brand that I was unfamiliar with but trusted the reviews and the vendor to provide us with a great product for road trips with our child. The picture is excellent considering the price, and I love the dual screens. The sound is adequate but not a strong component in the system. As shown in the picture, this product is ideal in a hotel room with small children and keeps them entertained in the car as well. The car seat mounts are a little confusing at first, but they held each screen firmly without any problems. Overall, very pleased with my purchase!!

I gave it four stars because we have only used it once n a ling trip to Virginia and back. If it performs the same in future trips, I would rate it a five star. The positives: easy and quick to install; sound does not carry to the frojt seats (so my wife and I could isten to music); remote control; retunrs to the last scene after stopping. Negative: not that easy to change CDs, if you have a van with the middle seat removed and kids sitting in the rear seat.

Bought this for travel with the kids. After weeks spent looking at units and reviews, and my own experience with a portable audiovox unit, I found this unit. Was not familiar with the brand, and went to their website to look at further. I emailed them with a question, and they replied before the end of the day! Really outstanding response from a manufacturer. I bought and have used on several trips with no problems. The only drawback, but is the same with most all portable units, it the volume. If there is much background noise, it's really hard to hear, but we make the kids use headphones when in the car anyway. Has easy to use straps for fastening around headrests, which was my question to the manufacturer, since they are not pictured. Overall, very satisfied.
