The patented design of the Mola Setti Soft Lite Reflector captures and focuses light with maximum efficiency. It is shaped to intercept all paths of light, no matter which direction they leave the flash tube, and redirect them toward the subject. This is a big improvement on most square boxlights, which can only focus a portion of the light available.

- The Setti's deep narrow profile increases contrast and delivers a directional quality which is perfect for black and white as well as color images which require a noticeably distinct edge.
- The handle combines a stand adapter and a handgrip in one which evenly distributes the weight of the reflector, balancing and stabilizing the reflector solidly over a light stand or boom.
- This reflector requires the adapter plate from your Chimera, Photoflex, or other brand of Speed Ring, to fit your light fixture.

The light coming out of this dish is peerless. The only downside is the price. I bought the matte silver interior and it is PRICEY! $600+ some dollars for what amounts to a glorified metal lampshade or a Chines wok!?!? I understand pricig theory, but I am having a hard time convalescing from sticker shock! If you want this quality of light be prepared to drain the checkbook. I did a light test/comparison with another popular 22" dish. It can be seen in discussions in the Mola group on flickr.

I did countless research with thie Satin Silver. it is simply the best beauty dish. I did compare the White vs Satin Silver finish. From i was told The silver will be higher in contrast, with a narrower beam of light, and much cooler in colour temperature.The white on the other hand will be less contrasty and a wider angle beam of light.
Both give a distinctly directional quality of light. It doesn't matter if is cooler color tone, You can adjust warmer and softer whatever you wish. I think this Satin Silver finish is the best ever after doing tons of research comparing. I'm glad got this one instead of the white Mola Setti. Please don't worry about this picture. It isn't what it look like. It look better. It is just like the white setti picture except a Silver kind of white color tone on the dish.
