I bought this camera for my daughter; a budding teen photographer who is already an artist and very discriminating about her photographic compositions. She loves macro photos of flowers and insects, bark and leaves. She also loves photographing animals and birds.
This camera, while not great for birds unless you're very patient, seems to excel at all of the other photographic subjects she enjoys. I find the controls to be simple and straightforward for her.
The only complaint I could have would be that the many very good shooting modes take a few menu presses to access and there are too many to select quickly from a list.
It's a very nice camera at a very nice price. I may buy one for myself to user for fun.

We gave this camera to our daughter and it is in constant use photographing her childrens' activities. It works well in all kinds of settings and she is happy with the ease of use and we are happy with the pictures we receive.

This camera had good reviews especially in regards to use by older,less experienced photographers. The reviews also stated it was a more solid/wider camera that would be easier to grip. Since I was buying a camera for my 81 year old father, I thought this would be the perfect choice. Unfortunately, the camera isn't really any wider then most mini cameras and the "on" and "shot" button are both flush with the top of the camera and therefore very difficult to press down. MY father really struggled trying to keep his finger flat enough to allow the button to be pushed far enough in, to take a picture.
I will be returning this product for one that had raised buttons which would definitely be more user friendly for older people.

Beside the bright color its a great camera. This is our second one for our family. My daughter bought one in June and we all used it because of the great picture quality and video. If you want a great litte camera this is it.

I picked up this camera because of the name and great pricing now I am not any camera know it all when it comes the getting a hang on all the thing this Fuji digital or any of the diges I got this and could not believe the 2-1/2 in screen scrach reses. and the buttons the change your setting on the side of the screen are so simple to use U CAN TAKE movies and the sound is clear not like that whole room sounds that u don,t want. Its A fine product/plus the software that comes with it will make getting your pic n moving pics work well together but you can use any good pic software with it I Do ha.
