I bought this camera to take with me when I'm kayaking. First time I took it on the river I flipped out of my yak! Yes the camera got wet. I had attached it to my PFD so I wouldn't lose it. The camera went in the water with me. After I got back in my yak I shot some beautiful scenes with this camera. I bought the camera because its small, water proof & it slides right in the pocket of my PFD. My only complaint so far is I don't like the fact that it didn't come with a paper manual. Even on the river it would be nice to have the user instructions with me.
