We gave this to our 12 year old for Christmas and she loves it! She thinks the green color is fun and a big deal. She also likes the size and weight of the camera. We all like the fact that it is waterproof and we plan to take advantage of that as a family. The only thing that is not so great is that it's slower than other cameras we have used to review the pictures and delete them, but definitely the good outways the bad!

I bought this camera for an upcoming trip to Hawaii. I wanted a waterproof camera for snorkeling that would produce better photos than the disposable film cameras and yet be inexpensive. Most of the reviews I read said the picture quality was terrible compared to similar compact cameras, but I thought I could live with it since my primary purpose was to use it as an underwater camera. I was wrong. Save your money and either buy a much more expensive underwater camera or forget it. If you already have a good quality compact camera consider buying an underwater housing for it. You will then have a camera that is waterproof beyond 10 feet and it will take better photos than the FinePix Z33WP.

My son (10yrs old) purchased the camera. We liked that the lens did not move, which makes it much more durable. Also the fact that he does not have to be concerned about water has been an added value. He used it during our snow storms and had a blast. It takes great pictures, the only minus is the zoom capabilities. He would like to get closer to the birds and animals he like to capture via pictures....

I use this camera for white water kayaking and have had it under water in 37 degree rapids. Seems to be no transition when breaking the water surface, (ie focusing or water staying on the lense) Very clear video. The buttons are even easy to use (compared to other models) with neoprene gloves. Love the one button video mode, no running through menus to switch from camera to video.

Besides doing weddings and event Photography I love photographing nature and use a Canon 10D and also a Mamyia. We went snorkeling in the Caribbean last week and tried out this little gem of a camera. Supper light wt, easy to use controls,big view screen but a little difficult to see in low light,battery lasts well over 2 hours, great pics with natural light. flash is ok. At this price I love it!

I keep this camera in my backpack as a "always with me camera". It takes good pictures if you can hold it still enough. The shutter button is stiff and hard to push without moving the whole camera; best to brace it on something. The 4-way-controller buttons are kind of lop-sided and hard to see as is the LCD. It's heavy for its size but that's do to the water proofing, which I'm sure is fine, but I haven't tested that. I can't bring myself to purposely dunk it! Its good for a back-up, and a very pretty color! (lime green)

I love this little camera. The pictures are good. Color is acutally better then my Nikon Coolpix. It is a camera that fits my lifestyle. I bought it for hiking, boating, skiing, etc., and it's perfect for that.
I also LOVE how intuitive it is. VERY easy to use. Once you know the basic commands on the back, you can manuever around it without your reading glasses (read: middle age eyes). I can grab a picture I want quickly and video is instant.
The price is very fair too.

Took this camera to Hawaii and snorkeled with it!! It was awesome!!! Got video and great pics of marine life and coral! Am taking a family vacation to FL soon and am so excited to have it!! I think my five-year old nephew will get a kick out of using it too!! Loved that the video was a one click feature. Used the camera out of the water too and loved the natural/flash setting!! Great product would buy again!!!!
