Its slim. Its light. Great big display screen is nice. With the limited button it seems like this camera not be very technical, but it actually has quite a number of capabilities once you sit down and learn your owners manuel.
More importantly, I got a GREAT price on it.

This camera is perfect for my 13-year-old daughter, and came in the blue color she wanted. It was a Christmas gift, and she's already used it a lot since getting it (6 days ago). It was easy for her to set up, and easy for her to use.

Good value, [...] Camera goes to macro (close up) automatically which is nice. Will never use a 10 meg picture but these days bigger is better, 2-4 meg is overkill for most pictures. Would have preferred a view finder, hopefully the rear screen will work in sunlight as I haven't tried it outdoors yet. Very thin. Will playback video through a TV very simply. So far so good.
