Peavey PV6 Live Sound Mixer with 6 Channels
The Peavey PV6 Sound Reinforcement Mixer features a total of 6 input channels and RQ (Reference Quality) microphone inputs that deliver transparent audio fidelity with low noise. Two of the 6 input channels are dedicated stereo channels for keyboards, stereo player devices, drum machines, etc.
A 3-band EQ section is featured on all channels and globally switched +48V phantom power is supplied to condenser microphones. The PV6 is an ideal sound reinforcement mixer for small venue installation, schools, house-of-worship audio, etc.

I like this mixer especially due to its master volume slider. Most small 2-6 channel mixers I've seen use a knob for the main volume. I don't like this because it lacks an instant visual reference.
The mixer is nice. Channels 3-6 are ganged on the same row which is alright. 1 and 2 have a nice 3 band EQ and all the knobs turn nicely, action is smooth and consistant. The only con I have is that the open channels do produce noise when their volume knobs are turned to around +12db or so. This is minimal and easily avoided by turning down the volume knobs on the unused channels.

I use the mixer to control the amount of guitar in my monitor mix.. It's much easier of I control how much I hear over a non caring sound guy.
The only thing I don't like about the unit is if it is turned on while connected to the monitors and if the monitors are already turned on, it will cause a very nasty electrical thump in the monitors.. it could actually blow them out. The power supply cable is not the best. It's cheap for a reason. Simply make sure the power to to unit is on (and stable) before turning on whatever it's connected to.

I have a Peavy XR8600 powered mixer for live performances with my bluegrass band. We sometimes need 10 mic inputs and the 8600 only has 8. The PV6 effectively and nicely adds 3 inputs to extend our capacity so each of our 5 musicians has a vocal and instrumental mic without our having to buy a whole new rig with rack mounted, less portable gear. The PV6 nicely fits right on top of the 8600 and inexpensively does the job!
