The MD 62 W Digiscoping Kit is a solution for immediate digiscoping and viewing, and includes Minox's fine little Japanese-made MD 62 W spotting scope as well as their "DEC" electronic digiscoping eyepiece.  It is as compact as could be possible, and allows easy simultaneous viewing amongst a group of observers thanks to the angled viewing and built-in hood for the eyepiece.  Both scope and electronic eyepiece are waterproof and fogproof, and the entire kit's incredibly low weight and mass allows you to hike with it easily.

The included lithium-ion battery will allow active digiscoping for an entire day's activity; you just need to add a memory card and your favorite small tripod to be ready to go.  Beyond the digiscoping, you're getting a spotting scope which has a nice collection of regular eyepieces, a dedicated optional SLR camera adapter, and the ability to accept filters upon its objective lens.
