Domke 15x15" Color Coded Protective Wrap (Blue)
The Domke 15x15" Color Coded Protective Wraps (Blue) are constructed of padded knit nylon with a non-scratch nylon backing. These squares can be wrapped around small cameras, lenses, electronic flashes, tools, or anything else that will fit inside a bag or case. Touch fastener tabs on all four corners allow them to be wrapped in any shape.

The Domke wraps are great for wrapping up delicate items that might otherwise flop around in a case or bag. But Domke has changed the build so that the inside and outside surfaces are different, and neither is as soft as the earlier versions have been. Sad.

I have all my lenses and my small binoculars in my camera backpack, all wrapped in a different color Domke wrap. I can immediately tell what is in the wrap by its color. The wrap folds down to nothing so if I am using a particular lens often, I just fold the wrap and stick it in the bottom of the compartmant, placing the lens on top of it. At the end of the day, I rewrap the lenses. If I need to remove the lens from the backpack for some reason, the lens is still protected and can be slipped into a suitcase or other carry-on.

I use this to wrap my 70-300 AF-VR zoom in a smaller day trip camera case. The case has less compartments than my larger carry all case, so some items can shift their positions when moving around. I can count on this wrap to keep my zoom from any and all damage!
