So far I have used the camera for still shots. Hoping the action shots do just as well. Love the look and options it provides. Perfect camera for anyone!

Comments about Kodak EasyShare Z915 Digital Camera (Black):
Pros: 10x optical zoom with a sharp lens and good image stabilization . It shoots fast, shot to shot is 1 to 1.5 sec with out the flash and about 2 to 2.5 sec with the flash, start up time is about 2 sec.( start-up is the same as my canon SX110 ). You do not have to remember to raise the flash and it is in a nice spot on the camera.
Cons: No camera is perfect at this price point. Heads up here you do not get a SD card and no A/V cable comes with the camera.
Summary: These are just my thoughts, I hope they might help a little... The camera has a nice solid feel to it, it just feels like a real camera in your hands, you can get a good grip on it. Just about the same size as the canon SX110.
I would give it a 7 out of a 10 on picture quality. It makes a great vacation camera or a good family camera.(large zoom and fast picture taking).
It has a really flimsy plastic cover over the usb - av cable ports. I use a SD card reader to down load my pictures. I have noticed that the mode dial has moved by accident from one mode to another because it is just a tad to loose.
I use program mode a lot and keep the ISO to 100 to keep the noise down and for the sharpest picture. I have used portrait mode and the camera used 64 iso and the picture looked very sharp. It's just me thinking out loud but I think these do it all auto modes slow the camera down a tad ( focas time - shot to shot time ) and auto indoors wants to use a higher ISOs (like my canons) and that makes for to much noise in the picture, but if auto works good for you use it but don't let the iso get to high.
Another thing you can try to help focas faster is to use center-zone focas instead of multi-zone. This camera is also called a ZD15 in some stores and it will be the same camera.
I use energizer aa lithium batteries or 2500-2900 NI-mAH rechargeables, you would not be happy with standerd aa batteries. I rate the 2.5inch LCD a 7 out of a 10 it could be a little bigger and a lot brighter but it does good in all but the brightest sun. Note that the LCD screen also dims to level 1 adjustment after 7 seconds in any shooting mode untill you push any button and if you do nothing for 7 sec it will dim again to save the battery. It has 5 levels of brightness adjustments.
I mostly take pictures of bear in the Smokey Mountians (CADES COVE) and love chaseing the grand kids around taking their pictures.

This camera is the best camera that i ever had. It isn't expensive. I wanted something thats in 100$ range but give me more than just point and shoot. This camera fits the bill best! It has 10x zoom, manual controls for somebody who is amateur photographer and wishes to buy SLR someday. Some not so good things are like bulk body, problems focusing while zoomed in and macro focusing. Over all, i like the camera.

Comments about Kodak EasyShare Z915 Digital Camera (Black):
I had always used Nikon Fm2's, but when I had a stroke I was not able to use them, no strength so for many years I had to use those cheap cameras. A few months ago I had to stop smoking so when I had money, I tried to find a small camera which I could use. The Kodak Z915 is wonderful, it is like I used to use my Nikon FM2's. You can make execeptional photos using those things it does, like landscaping, scn modes, panoroma. changing shutters. apertures, etc., and one nice thing is that if I don't like a photo I can delete it and another great think is that I can put the photos into my computer and to print them. Thank goodness, no more taking films to 1 hour photos to pharmacies, etc.

Comments about Kodak EasyShare Z915 Digital Camera (Black):
I like to use my camera for close-ups of family members and also of artists at concerts. I also like to take wide shots of scenic sites while on vacation. The best thing about this camera is the easy to use controls and pre-sets for different conditions. I'm visually impaired and appreciate the simple, easy to locate buttons.I've found the picture quality for tight close-ups is very disappointing. I have only been able to get a few decent close-ups. I found my previous Cannon Powershot to be superior in this respect. Otherwise, the pictures are very acceptable. The video feature is excellent for a camera of this price. You can zoom in and out while recording and produce some pretty decent video quite easily. Structurally the Z915 seems to have a much more stable lens system than the Powershot. My Cannon experienced a lot of lens jamming after taking about 1000 pictures. The lens assembly on the Z915 feels very sturdy. I am concerned about the battery compartment. It has a flimsy access lock just waiting to break. Then again, I only paid [$] for my Z915. Bottom line: You get what you pay for...more or less. It would make a good first camera for a teenager or older adult.

Comments about Kodak EasyShare Z915 Digital Camera (Black):
I use this camera in my home inspection business. The lens zooms faster than the other cameras that I have used. The flash recycles faster than the others I have tried, which is great because I don't have to wait and I don't miss things that happen quickly. It is a little bigger than the other cameras, but it is still quite smaller than the cameras that I used years ago and it still fits in my pocket.
