To save you the time and hassle involved in assembling an outdoor camera system on your own, Bosch presents you with the KBE-455V55-20 Prepackaged surveillance kit. In this kit you'll find a color Dinion box camera, a 5-50mm varifocal lens, an outdoor housing and a mounting bracket. To further simplify matters, the package ships with the camera and lens pre-wired through the housing. Because of camera's high resolution and various electronic controls, you can be sure of getting great looking images in most lighting and scene conditions.
- NightSense Low Light Sensitivity
- NightSense technology boosts the camera's sensitivity to light during nighttime hours. In NightSense mode, the camera's light requirements is decreased from 2.6 lux to 0.10 lux.
- Built-In Heater & Blower
- A built-in heater and blower system helps keep internal housing temperatures at optimum camera operating levels. This way, you can safely use the camera in temperatures as low as -40°F (-40°C) and as high as 122°F (50°C).
- Bilinx Bi-Directional Communication
- As with other Bosch cameras, the Dinion camera inside this package supports Bosch's Bilinx bi-directional communication protocol. Bilinx will allow you access the camera to program or to change settings by tapping into the camera's BNC cable from anywhere along its length. Bilinx requires the use of optional software and hardware tools.
