Comments about Nikon Coolpix S630 Digital Camera (Royal Purple):
This is a great grab and go camera. Clear images on the screen and a wide variety of photo options for those who like to 'play' a little. Good battery life on full charge. I wish it had better zoom qualities, but for quick standard shots, I don't think it can be beat for the price. I use the video portion quite regularly so I also bought the AC adapter as to not stress the battery during playback on TV.

Small and compact! Takes professional pics. Her favorite part is the 20 photo's that are taken during action shots. She has created some very neat pics. We make all our purchases through BHPhoto. Great to work with!

Comments about Nikon Coolpix S630 Digital Camera (Royal Purple):
When looking for a pocket size camera that allowed carrying convenience with high quality resolution--luckily we were directed to this model of camera. Fits easily in a shirt pocket! If you're looking for a viewfinder, you'll be out of luck on this camera. However, it does reward you with a long list of features that make taking great pictures a snap. Used predominately by a restricted strength and mobility quadraplegic. No blurry pictures!

Comments about Nikon Coolpix S630 Digital Camera (Royal Purple):
I bought this camera to supplement my SLR. So far I have been pleased with both the quality of the pictures and the ease of use. I haven't tried all of the features yet but it has allowed me to get some great pics at places I wouldn't ordinarily lug my SLR to.
THINGS I LIKE: It has easy to use menu options, it takes great daytime outdoor pics, there isn't a long delay between when I take the picture and when the shutter releases, it is compact and it has a lot of options. I also like that it can share an SD memory card with my Nikon SLR.
THINGS THAT COULD BE BETTER: I have had some trouble with night shots and shots that require flash - although I do admit that this could be user error. I also would have preferred to have the option to take the picture through the viewfinder in addition to using the LCD screen on the back.
