I purchased this camera for my adult daughter who enjoys taking photos of friends and family especially in social situations. Often this includes indoor pics at dimly lit venues as well as outside activities. All photos have come out beautifully. It's compact size fits easily in one's palm or an evening bag. Pictures are clear and crisp and she doesn't miss a shot due to lag time. Over all it was a great choice and I would recommend the Nikon Coolpix S630 Digital Camera to anyone who expects quality photos in a compact sized camera.

Comments about Nikon Coolpix S630 Digital Camera (Titanium Silver):
The Coolpix S360 is a great camera. I love having a camera with rechargeable batteries. They seem to last plenty of time. I love the food setting. Party pics turn out really well. Cons- too much software to install that doesn't really do much. You get a fee subscription to an online photo storage service but it doesn't offer the option to send the pictures to a local retailer[...]

Bought this camera for my wife she wanted something simple to use and we were going to yellowstone. It worked great up there was able to use with my spotting scope for close ups on the animals. Very simple to use good zoom and great features.

Comments about Nikon Coolpix S630 Digital Camera (Titanium Silver):
I bought this camera after searching for a long-zoom with small dimentions camera. I heard good things about Nikon CoolPix series. The Camera answer all my needs and more: Its small, great zoom (I decided not to pay an additional 100$ for x10 zoom- x7 is more than enough), large screen, light weight, and easy to handle- it took me only a few seconds to understand how it works. I have it only for a week so I have not found anything wrong about it.

Comments about Nikon Coolpix S630 Digital Camera (Titanium Silver):
I'm using this camera for recording family events. Birthday parties, sports, etc. The camera has exceeded my expectations. I was not expecting digital SLR type results. The camera delivers crisp, clear images at any resolution. It does more than I imagined (feature rich). The controls can be a little intimidating at first, but become intuitive after getting acquainted with it.

Comments about Nikon Coolpix S630 Digital Camera (Titanium Silver):
I got this to use when space was at a premium - basically when I'm too lazy to carry an SLR with all my lenses.
It is super easy to use and doesn't intimidate family members who are afraid to touch settings.
The full auto mode makes surprisingly good decisions.
My only complaint is that the zoom is a bit jumpy and hard to set where you really want.

This is my first compact camera. I had the Canon Rebel film and digital previously. I chose the Nikon because of the comfort holding it, I wasn't crazy about the Canon's shape.I also wanted the 7x zoom. I am still leatrning the functions but so far have been very happpy w/ it

Bought this camera for my wife. She used canon before. This one is Much much better than Canon, better optic, intuitive menu more function. Pictures are great quality for Poin&Shoot Camera. Opposite to Canon, Nikon's battery last forever.

I bought it for my friend. Everything is fine but I don't like to appearance of the picture. I mean, if you compare same picture taken by Canon SD series and this camera, most probably you will like Canon's picture than Nikon's.
