I bought it for my Sony HXR-MC2000U AVCHD CAMCORDER, and it fits perfectly, even with the lens hood and mic attached.
The bag has a lot of little pockets and compartments, its completely customizable, because everything has velcro...
It is very well padded, I used it for plane travel and had to check it due to it's size; however, my camera arrived intact.
I can fit everything in there, cables, batteries, charger, light, etc.
You can also use an optional trolley, so you don't have to carry it.
The only thing I didn't like is that it's practically a cube, and a little bulky, so it's not comfortable to carry when using the shoulder strap.

Using this bag with my Sony FS-100 and Canon 7D shoulder rig mounted cameras. I love being able to leave the whole camera rig assembled and just place it safely in the bag. It's great for keeping my kit ready for action and easily accessible. There also is plenty of room for accessories. The yellow interior makes it easy to spot little black camera parts. Keep in mind, it's a large bag. It can be a bit bulky in some situations. However, I think it's great for keeping a fully assembled camera safe and ready for shooting.

Comments about Kata OMB-75 One Man Band Bag, Medium:
This bag is not only spacious, sturdy and well padded, but it is also full of pockets and 'hidden' spaces I was surprised to find. A lot more space than I envisioned when purchasing. The top part has a deep outside pocket that fits all sorts of items. On a shoot, I ditched my purse and carried my wallet, keys, cell, and even my lunch and a bottle of 32oz juice. All that without compromising the precious space inside and around the bag that is dedicated to equipment.
The other plus is that it looks and feels great... professional, still with a casual 'I'm a cool videographer' touch.

By the time I get my camera fully rigged and ready to shoot I have spent 15-20 minutes in set up time (don't ask - too much stuff on board) THEN at the end of the day break it down and put everything in their respective cases. With the OMB-75 One Man Band Bag, Medium by Kata - (excuse the pomp - I do unbiased gear reviews too) I can take my Frankenstein camera rig and just slip it into this fantastic bag - ready to pull out and shoot the next day!
I really love the Velcro mounted, insert pockets and adjustable walls because I can put them where needed - this gives me lots of room for additional batteries, lenses and support.
The good thing about this bag is the size -
The bad thing about it is...well...the size :) It says 'medium' but really it is huge! I am glad i have an SUV (except at the pump).
If I were not using the OMB-75 as a dedicated camera bag I bet I could get rid of several other cases I own by consolidating everything into it.
When all is said and done I have more time to shoot with my camera rather than build it and strike it everyday -- Thanks to this bag.
I tried several other bags and non of them gave me the interior space and durability of the One Man Band Bag.
I bought it from B&H because the place I usually buy from said I'd save a lot of money - He was right - B&H has the best price. Yeah!

I will use this as my all in one, on location, video bag. From the moment I opened the box, I was so impressed with the workmanship. Right down to the weatherproof zippers. It holds my 18" Sony HXR-MC2000 HD shoulder mount 64GB hard drive camera, 2 hand held Sony HXR-MC50 HD 64GB hard drive cameras, a UHF Wireless Lavalier Mic System, a Mac 15" MacBook Pro laptop and all accessories that came with each. The layout of this bag allows me to access each item without emptying things to get to them. And with room for more. It's a little weighty (23 lbs) with all this but, the with the awesome shoulder strap or handheld strap it is handled with ease. Kata....you have rocked me with this GREAT bag, thanks!

I needed a bag that would transport my camera attached to my follow focus/rails rig, with a handle. Kata makes Great products!!, I do wish ah that it had some straps to "tie down" the rig set up.

I've had a couple of different Kata bags over the years and all I can say is that they make great products. I use it for my completed DSLR rig. Great build quality; very functional. Wish it had more compartments/dividers for other gear.

As a professional freelancer that shoots everything from industrials, to music videos, to web ads; this bag is the answer. Being able to have one case that holds everything I need to capture, edit, and deliver has had a positive effect on my work flow.
The bag has enough room to load the camera mounted with iris rods, matte box and audio into it and cut set up time. It has a good layout for holding the 17" laptop and external drive so there's second case to lug. It's made well, with good materials and finish.
If the bag had a larger slot for sliding on to wheeled cart handles instead of Kata's special "inter-trolley" it make it perfect.

I'm using this bag to carry my 2-DSLR with lenses attached, 4 additional lenses, 4 DSLR Flash units, 2 power packs, 3 Gary Fong flash diffusers, and misc equipment! This bag isn't your typical Canon or Nikon DSLR bag, but what it does for me is allow me to have my 5D mark2 with lens attached, & my D3 with 70-200 attached, and able to grab either very quickly! With all the mentioned equipment inside the bag is heavy, but that is why there is a trolley insert! LOVE IT!!

This bag save me lots of time packing, unpacking and hauling around when I travel for my video shoot. Prior to having this, I had to carry two Pelican hard cases to transport my Sony NX5U, Dell 17 inch laptop, 8 inch Ikan monitor, shotgun mic, cables, chargers, batteries etc.
OMB 75 stores everything I had from my two Pelican cases.
This is truly a One Man Band production bag.
Lots of pockets for misc accessories like filters, white/gray cards, note pad etc.
Excellent sewing. High quality zippers and clever carying handle that snaps together.
I had to buy Kata trolley because others will not fit as well.
For its price, Kata should consider supplying a proective cover to shield the bag from rain and snow.
