Comments about Kata OMB-74 One Man Band Bag, Small:
This is my second bag for my second Sony nx5u cam and it is well padded, very deep and the yellow interior is great for dimly lit reception venues. I do not love the strap connector that holds the camera in place. You have to put a lot of stress on the camera to tighten it properly and even then I feel it needs more support to prevent movement. I have a petrol bag and when I sell one of the two cameras, this bag will go with it.

The special offer B&H offer made my choice on this bag. First, this bag is using very strong materials and hence protect your camera better. I use another camera bag from Kata before I buy it and when I move all my stuff to this bag and it still has a lots of space..... also, it is easy for access to my camera and this is very important.
If your buy this bag and you have to buy the Kata trolley which fit well with this, and also you can put one more Kata equipment case into the same trolley on the top and carry a through gear but still a one man band production.
Good for travel.

Comments about Kata OMB-74 One Man Band Bag, Small:
I travel a lot a for work as a professional videographer and was looking for a bag that could hold a Panasonic AG-HMC 150 video camera, charger and batteries, a wireless mic system, shotgun mic,a few shortie cables, SD card media and spare AA batteries.
This was not the bag for the job.
While it is well-padded, it doesn't make good use of the space.
This bag probably works best with a camera that is even smaller than my Panasonic.

Comments about Kata OMB-74 One Man Band Bag, Small:
This is the first equipment bag I've owned. I've used others, and this probably isn't the favorite bag I've used. The tripod straps are nice on paper, but they easily come loose and fall off the bag, they also don't hold the tripod very securely. But many bags don't have this option, so I can't complain too much.
It does seem to hold a lot of equipment. There are many compartments, nooks and crannies, and the dividers inside are customizable so it's pretty versatile. It might be a little too bulky but I haven't decided yet. It's also waterproof, though I haven't tested this yet.
Overall it's a pretty good bag. The trolley system that you can buy is nice for the price if you want to get the bag on wheels, but you get what you pay for (the construction seems a little flimsy).
