Daughter's birthday gift, takes great pictures, easy to take and edit. Very large view screen, light weight and easy to use as well.

Comments about Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 Digital Camera (Gold):
The small, ease to use camera is used for quick snapshots at family gatherings, so the anti-shake capability is wonderful. The pictures are sharp, you don't have to manipulate a bunch of controls and the battery never seems to run out. All in all it's perfect for a casual user who would like to get good pictures.

Comments about Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 Digital Camera (Gold):
When shopping for a camera my advice is to look for...1) a big high quality view screen, it will let you know quickly whether or not the picture is in focus. 2) It comes with it's own rechargeable lithium battery, normal AA batteries dont last long.
3) Short lag time between pictures, otherwise you'll miss opportunities waiting for your camera to be ready for the next shot. 4) A quick dial for selecting different features in the camera, the more you can do by pushing a button or turning a dial means the less you have to go fishing inside of a menu screen to make the camera do what you want it to do.
This camera seems to do what I just spoke of minus the quick dial. It does make up for it with what it calls "Intelligent Auto". That feature seems to be a "set it and forget it" feature. This camera is small enough for a clothes pocket, takes nice pictures and is priced right. You really can't go wrong here.

Comments about Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 Digital Camera (Gold):
I had a model previous to this one and I lost it. I had purchased a different make (Samsung) and model of camera and was so unhappy that I returned it. I looked up Panasonic Lumix online and found it here at B&H for $50 less then [...] online, and immediately purchased it. The camera was at my door in less then a week. The quality of photos that this camera produces is amazing. This new model is even better then the last one that I owned. I have taken action photos and still photos, in the sunlight and in a dark crowded nightclub, and the picture quality is fantastic. The LCD on this camera is awesome. It is large enough to really see the photo well to allow you to decide if you need a retake or not. The only thing that I dislike about these cameras is that you have to take the battery out of the camera to charge it. (You should be able to charge the camera with a cable adapter) The adapter for the battery is ackward, and I lost the adapter for the first camera I owned and had to purchase a new one.

Comments about Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 Digital Camera (Gold):
I use this camera for both private and professional purposes. I am satisfied with most of this camera. Even when a picture looked kind of dark on the screen on the camera, it was bright enough when it was printed out. My only concern is that it gets little blurred occasionally but I guess it could happen some times with any camera. I like the large screen and the relatively lower price.
