The Manfrotto 7322YB M-Y Tripod with Ball Head is a compact and lightweight 4-section aluminum tripod with small ball head, designed primarily for the latest compact digital and conventional point and shoot cameras.
This tripod includes a small ballhead that allows a mounted camera to pivot, while the legs have two independently adjustable angles: 25° and 51°. Three locks divide the four leg sections that bring the max height to a workable 55" with the extension of the center column.
This compact camera support is made even more portable with the bundled carry case that prevents damage during transport.

I got this tripod so I could take it on hikes and it has worked out wonderfully. My hiking partner loved mine so much, he went out and got one too.

This thing packs up small and compact. It came with a bag. The clamps seem tight, but you get use to the unsnapping and are thankful it is so strong.
I use a Manfrotto - 323 RC2 System Quick Release Adapter which I HIGHLY recommend. I also use a Vivitar VIV-RC-200/D90 Wireless Remote Shutter Release for my Nikon D3100.
It is very lightweight that it might not work for heavier gear or windy conditions.

Comments about Manfrotto 7322YB M-Y Aluminum Tripod with Ball Head (Black):
I have been using a cheap sunpack tripod ever since i got this one, and i won't ever go back to a sunpack again. this tripod is very sturdy, even though it says it's only supposed to be for point and shoots, it can easily hold my t2i with the 55-250mm lens on it. I really like the ball head because you can move it wherever you want to and i recommend getting the quick release plate because it makes it much easier to attach and unattached the camera to the tripod itself. it probably couldn't handle bigger camera's like a canon 1d or a nikon d3, but for smaller dslr's like the t2i, it works flawlessly.

Comments about Manfrotto 7322YB M-Y Aluminum Tripod with Ball Head (Black):
I just recently got into photography and needed a good tripod and went researching for a good one. I accidentally stumbled upon this one at the stores I was looking at.
The tripod is very simple to use, all the controls are common logic, stability is excellent, lightweight, and the ball head movement is very fluid!
The only con i have about this tripod is that the clamps on the legs are a little tough to pop open. Everything else is perfect!

I use this little beauty with my Panny LX3 and they pair well together. It feels good in your hands as you extend the legs and has a very solid feel given it lightness. A great travel choice comes with a slick bag. It could handle my Nikon D40 in a pinch as well.
