I use this tripod indoors with a lightweight camera to photograph my jewelry. This tripod is lightweight, compact(collapses to about 20"), easy and fast to adjust height (with leg clips), and best of all, the ballhead mount lets me easily adjust the camera's aim in any direction. A nice piece of equipment for an investment that's easy on the pocket-book. I compared a lot of tripods and since I do not need a heavy-duty tripod, this item was a great money-saving option for me.

I purchased this due to the low cost and weight. I am using it with a Nikon D90 with 18-55 and 55-200 kit lenses. Setup and teardown is a snap. I like the simple non-quick release head which is actually quite quick for me. The legs can operate at standard width or a wider profile with the twist of a few knobs. The center column moves up and down. The ball head works but can slip a little if you don't wrench it down well. I can imagine with a heavier lens you would not be able to prevent the slippage and this ball head would not be for you.
This tripod comes with a nice carrying bag which adds to its great value.
While this is a joy to use, it is fairly wobbly as tripods go. I rejected the notion that I would want heavier more expensive tripod when I bought this but have since seen its shortcomings. I recently took a shot at 200mm 1/90 second (with self timer) that was blurry due to tripod wiggling. Mirror lock up removed my problem but that illustrated that just the mirror is enough to ruin sharpness in a photo on this tripod. For maximum stability do not extend the center column. Go to your local store, mount your longest lens onto a few tripods and look through the viewfinder while you tap the camera with a finger. This model will show significant wiggling. More expensive models handle this much better.
Buy this tripod if cost and weight are paramount. It is probably awesome for a point and shoot camera. If you have nice and/or heavy gear skip this one for a more expensive model due to its lack of stiffness.

Comments about Manfrotto 7303YB 4-Section Tripod w/ Ballhead:
Fairly sturdy for what it is. It's light aluminium and collapses in a convenient package for travel use. At home I'd probably use something more stable, but I don't notice it much because I don't really use long lenses which might affect the balance of this tripod. The ball head is non-removable. So you'll have to put up with the built in one (which isn't bad at all). But I think you would expect that at this price bracket. Nice drawstring carrying case for travel with strap.

Comments about Manfrotto 7303YB 4-Section Tripod w/ Ballhead:
We've only had this for about 2 weeks, and have used it just a few times, but this is just what we needed. It's light and seems durable, just as advertised.
The ball joint has me a little concerned, as it seems a little frail, but no complaints yet.

Great tripod for the price. It is sturdy, compact and lightweight. It would be perfect if it had a bubble level.

Comments about Manfrotto 7303YB 4-Section Tripod w/ Ballhead:
This tripod is solid support for my Canon Rebel Xti,
and is easy to use as well as being light enough to take on hikes. It extends to a height that is adequate for me (6 ft tall man).
Manfrotto really make a quality product, and setup is very quick.
It lacks features like a leveling bubble and a rapid mount plate, but for casual use it is a good choice.
