The Manfrotto 7302YB Tripod is a compact and lightweight tripod primarily designed for compact digital point and shoot cameras or lighter SLR cameras with lenses up to a moderate telephoto. It has 26mm maximum upper diameter leg segments and a simple ballhead with 2 90° positions.
The 7302YB ballhead's small but smooth, and allows all the motions necessary for a still camera. Given its form factor, it also minimizes the weight and mass you need to carry; indeed, the 7302YB can easily be carried on board an aircraft and weighs only 3.24 pounds, making it an appropriate quality choice for the family vacation.

I love this tripod. I used to have a Manfrotto 725B until I left it on the subway while visiting Chicago. Losing this was upsetting since the 725B served me so well, even though it did had its quirks. Since the 725B has been out of production for a couple years I could not find it new, nor could I find one used. Since this is the replacement model that, I went ahead and purchased the 7302YB.
So what improvements did I find? The ball head locks down MUCH better and legs seems to slide back and forth easier.
What don't I like? The legs are STIFF. I do mean STIFF. I imagine they will loosen over time. Also the latches for the legs are a bit tight.
I do a variety of types of photography and this tripod should serve me well.

I am not a professionarl photographer, but have been learning that the use of a tripod on a regular basis results in better pictures. This tripod of versatile. The ballhead is a tremendous improvement over the cheaper tripod I had which has so many limitations. I did not realize the signifcant difference until I began using this tripod.

I'm an amateur photographer and this fits my needs perfectly. Pretty light, but definitely sturdy. I just used it on a photo shoot on a cold night where I had to chase my 2 yr. old niece around an amusement park and it wasn't a hassle to carry and set it up because of its light weight. I actually bought my dad one for a christmas present.

I'm going to use it with a Lumix dmc-fz7. Just the right size for the camera. I haven't really used it (just received it) but it is of good quality materials and the actions work smooth and solid.

I use this for astro-photography (beginner) and as a carry around on hikes for panoramic shots.
I love its compact size and weight.
The one con is that when you need to pan the camera, there is no separate pan adjuster, you loosen the whole ball head.

I bought one this Manfrotto tripods for myself and just bought another for my daughter for Christmas. They are small, easy to use and fits in my backpack. It is very stable and is easy to set up. Even used it to help myself out of the snow when I sank in it up to my hip!! Many uses of a good tripod.

I wanted an all-around, sturdy, and lightweight tripod to use with a variety of cameras that I own. I shopped around at my local stores, but was disappointed in the price and selection. So I took a chance at buying online, after reading some reviews. I was not disappointed with this unit. It suits my needs and seems like a very good value at this price point. If you want a tripod for heavy duty use however, I would probably say you should invest in a more expensive price range.

This tripod is a great upgrade from my pan/tilt tripod. It's very easy to get the angles that I want that took forever to get with the pan/tilt style tripod. the legs can also be adjusted to sit at different angles that make it easier to get certain angles that are impossible with other tripods. It also comes with a quick release plate that I would recommend since it makes it easier to detach your camera for some handheld action!

Out of the box (and travel bag it comes with) this tripod looks amazing and the light weight feel makes you want to immediately take it out for a spin.
This is my first tripod, but it does the job right. I went out the night I received it and took some long exposure shots to test out the stability. At exposures up to 25 seconds I saw little to no effect of creep in the images.
Only in one photo did I have a problem tightening the ballhead enough in order to prevent the camera from slowly creeping downwards. This was when my 18-200mm VR ii was at its maximum focal length and I was standing on top of a hill facing downward.
if you want results, you REALLY have to tighten the ball head, which makes me worry a little about how longevity of the product.
All in all, well worth the money, weighs basically nothing, great travelpod

When shopping online I pay a lot of attention to the reviews. The rating and number of reviews both are important in my opinion. I made a move based on what I needed and the two factors I just mentioned in selecting this product. There you go a home run. This tripod is worth every penny!

I use this tripod with my Nikon D90 and the MBD80 vertical grip for studio work and outdoor portrait & nature photography. It is very stable and holds the weight of my camera in various positions with no problems. It is not quite as 'heavy duty' as some more expensive tripods, but for the price, and how I am using it, it is perfect.

Even thought the tripod is light it is very sturdy and easy to set up. This is my first tripod with a ballhead and it's a great feature to have giving you the ability to hold the camera at any angle you want. The camera can easily be dismounted from the ballhead for quick hand held shots. This is a big improvement over my old tripod and well worth the money. I'd recommend it to other non-professionals like myself.

This is very sturdy and well made. I need to get a bubble level to use on my camera as I have some trouble with getting things level. But with practice I will improve. It is short in it's bag and will fit into a carry-on very nicely.

Very Compact tripod with good weight and has a large range of adjustments. The quick disconnect works great. Extremely solid standing when fully extended. The only thing i wish it had would be a handle to position the camera from so that i could pan while taking video a little more smoothly, otherwise this is a great product.
