Sony STR-DH100 Stereo Receiver
With its continued excellence in sound reproduction, Sony has once again created a versatile stereo receiver for the music lover in you. The Sony STR-DH100 Stereo Receiver offers superb functionality and multi-room capability that will be hard to match at this price point. In a nutshell, it's a 2 x 100W stereo receiver that offers connectivity to your iPod and Bluetooth audio devices with the built-in DMP port. It features (5) sets of RCA audio inputs, (2) sets of RCA audio outputs, 1/4" headphone jack output, 20Hz - 20KHz frequency response, AM/FM tuner, A/B and A&B speaker switching.
Moreover, it works in conjunction with Sony's ES receiver line to achieve multi-room audio distribution. Because of the high efficiency of its design, the Sony STR-DH100 reproduces exceptional sound quality, and clarity in every audible detail.

- At 100W per channel at 8 ohms, the STR-DH100 is capable of reproducing audio with less noise, greater headroom, and an accurate frequency response (20Hz - 20KHz).
- Digital Media Port (DMP)
- Integrate a wide variety of music with the STR-DH100. Add a DMP accessory (sold separately) to play music from a PC client device, Bluetooth receiver, Walkman digital music player, or your iPod.
- A/B Speaker Switching
- With A/B and A&B speaker switching capabilities, you have the ability to send audio to another room in your home, and still listen to the STR-DH100 in that specific room.
- Built-In AM/FM Tuner
- Enjoy your favorite radio broadcasts (up to 30 presets each), with the built-in AM/FM wide-band tuner.

We have a tv, a cd player and a dvd player hooked up to it. The left channel for the speakers does not work. We brought it to be repaired, and it still doesn't work. We solved the problem by hooking up both speakers to the right channels a&b.
I had to call to find out how to hook up the tv, since there are no rca jacks labeled tv. So now I have to remember that the tv is hooked up to the "tape" jack.
Now it works...sort of.

I use the SONY STR-DH100 for indoor, as well as outdoor by the pool. I was looking for something that had A&B channels for my outdoor speakers and that can be tuff to find. I use this unit for listening to AM and FM stations, books on tape and music CD's. It takes a bit of researching the remote and instructions to come up to speed, but once done, this is a very well designed unit with a lot of features for the money. The remote also works directly with the Sony 5 disc CD-player I bought from B&H, so that's another plus.
Overall, big bang for the bucks.
