When space is a consideration in choosing an HDTV, such as for an office, kitchen, or bedroom, the Sony KDL-26L5000 26" 720p Bravia L Series LCD HDTV should earn a place on your short list. The Bravia offers vibrant picture quality, a full complement of HD connections, and technological innovations that enhance the viewing experience while saving energy.

The HDTV's 720p resolution delivers crisp images that add to the enjoyment of broadcast and cable programs, Blu-ray movies, and games, as well as your own videos and photos. When watching 24p video sources, such as films, the TV's 24p True Cinema mode enables a direct connection that displays these images at their original 24 fps (frames per second) quality.

Compatibility with Bravia Link modules enables you to expand the capabilities of your HDTV by adding a space-saving DVD player, four additional HDMI connections, and wireless control. Additionally, Bravia Sync offers easy connectivity and control of specified Sony camcorders and digital cameras.

You'll have a wide range of viewing choices, as the Bravia offers multiple connectivity options, including three HDMI inputs, two component inputs, and one PC input.

Being green was never easier: the KDL-26L5000 also features Dynamic Backlight Control for picture optimization and energy savings. In addition, the HDTV boasts Backlight Off mode, Idle TV Standby, and other power-saving modes. It's no surprise that the Bravia exceeds Energy Star Version 3.0 requirements.

720p Resolution
The Bravia's 720p resolution delivers crisp, clear HD images that will enhance your enjoyment of movies, live-action broadcasts, and video games.

24p True Cinema Mode
Films appear more realistic when viewed the way they were shot, at 24 fps (frames per second) picture quality.

Bravia Link Expansion Compatibility
Compatibility with Bravia Link modules offers an easy way to expand and integrate the functions of your HDTV. Bravia DVD Link lets you save space by adding a DVD player behind your TV, while Bravia Input Link provides four additional HDMI inputs and Bravia Wireless Link unifies control of your audio and video sources.

Advanced Contrast Enhancer with Dynamic Backlight Control
By adjusting the brightness of the backlight in real time, this feature controls both bright outdoor images and dark interior shots scene by scene. Benefits include optimized image quality and reduction in power usage by up to 50 percent.

Bravia Sync Capable
Employing the Bravia's remote and on-screen display, you now have one-touch access and control of CEC-enabled equipment such as Sony Handycam camcorders.

3 HDMI Inputs
Connect a Blu-ray disc player, home entertainment system, or any other HDMI-capable device and you'll enjoy uncompressed digital video and multichannel digital audio via a single, space-saving cable.

2 Component Inputs
Using the Bravia's HD-capable component inputs provides a sharper picture than with composite connections, and expands your HD entertainment choices.

PC Input
In addition to watching a variety of HD sources on the Bravia, you also can use it as a computer monitor, enabling you to save valuable desk space while switching between work and play.

ATSC/NTSC Tuner with QAM
The built-in tuner delivers over-the-air digital TV, unencrypted HDTV broadcasts, and analog TV signals, providing a wide range of channel choices.

VESA-Compatible Hole Spacing
Industry-standard hole spacing takes the guesswork out of hanging your HDTV on a wall using compatible mounting brackets.

Energy Star 3.0 Compliant
It's easy being green with Sony's L-series HDTV because all models exceed Energy Star 3.0 requirements.
