Plasma is the display technology of choice among home video equipment reviewers. Panasonic has refined this flat-panel technology further with its Neo PDP (plasma display panel) technology combining full-time 1080 TV lines of moving picture resolution; a native 40,000:1 contrast ratio; an Infinite Black Panel; and an anti-reflective filter. Add to that a 600Hz sub-field drive for reproducing the fastest action that broadcasters can throw at it, and the TC-P46S1 is the TV to beat.
