I needed a heavy white muslin to stand up to moving kids and pets, and I needed something that would give me the high key results I wanted. I am very satisfied with the quality for the price and it did the job for me. I was able to get high key portraits with only one background light, 1 fill light and one main light. I got even better results with two background lights.
I would recommend this to anyone of any leve of skill. I will likely use this 2-3x's per year for families and/or dance schools.

I've worked in a portrait studio as a studio manager and I'm used to using Heavyweight Backdrops. Therefore, when I came onto this website and looked for a heavyweight backdrop for my own studio, I thought this one would produce the same effect as the one at my old job. However it didn't. When my clients stand, sit, or lay on this backdrop, I constantly have to straighten the backdrop underneath them. This backdrop wrinkles and creases very easily. As a result, I have to do a lot of photo editing to erase the creases. I never had this problem with the heavyweight backdrop at the portrait studio where I worked. This backdrop is heavy, but not as heavy, as thick, nor as manageable as what I'm used to. This is a good backdrop for beginners. Thus, I'll continue my hunt for a better backdrop.

Easy set up but a bit heavy for one person. Packing up, I gather the backdrop into a ball because it's bulky to fold neatly.

I read the reviews about this cloth being too thin..... You can see through it when there is a light source behind, however it doesn't show in the pictures when I used strobe lighting. You HAVE TO HAVE a steamer, the hand held kind work good in a pinch, but you're forever refilling it. The commercial kind are better. I like that the cloth is machine washable, it didn't really get very dirty though. Wish I had bought a 2nd cloth for the larger groups I shot. Paper is smoother, just not practical for one person to handle due to it's weight.

I currently use this product for stage skirting for a Jimmy Buffett tribute band. [@] We change out our look every 2-3 years and this product has been great. Currently we have a "tiki" themed stage and are switching to "Florida" colors for this season. We expect this to hold up for many shows each season.

This is a montrous backdrop. Best to have 2 people to fold this backdrop back up. I've heard some "Backdrop Alley" backdrops comes with a bag. This one doesn't.

Not as thick as I hoped. Also had pen marks in different spots, real small and not a big deal.

10x24 is a great size, but this background isn't as heavy-weight as I thought it would be; it can be a bit transparent if there are any lightsources behind it.
