Sunpak Pro 523PX Carbon Fiber Tripod Kit with 3-Way Pan Head & Pistol Grip Ballhead
The leg materials are made of high-strength carbon fiber tubing commonly used in aerospace engineering, which yield exceptional stability for its weight. Carbon fiber materials are very shock and vibration absorbent, but still relatively lightweight.
Included in this kit is the standard 3-way pan/tilt head supplied with the tripod. Also included is the Sunpak Pistol Grip Ballhead, which is a compact and convenient trigger-style ballhead, designed for lightweight video or still photography.

Best Uses
I have looked at the Manfrotto tripods and heads and decided to go with this tripod because it is just as professional but has a reasonable cost. It looks very professional and is of great quality. You can take macro photos with the tripod by sliding down the spring loading levers at the top of the legs and letting the legs extend to a much large angle. The legs have just the right friction when rotating them out or in. The legs bump up against some internal gears rotating them out which is adjustable by sliding the spring loaded lever at the top of each leg.
The 3 way pan tilt head is good but the pistol grip is fantastic. The pistol grip is bigger than I thought it would be and is of pretty high quality. It is very strong and easily holds my Rebel T2i with battery grip and 55-250mm EFS lens in any position including landscape.
What a fantastic product! You get a good deal on the pistol grip by getting it in this combo. The pistol grip is only $20 extra in this package but alone it costs at least $35 on Google Shopping.
