The Novoflex MFT/LEM Lens Mount Adapter allows a Leica M mount lens (made by Leica, Konica, Voigtlander, and others) to be mounted to any Micro Four-Thirds system camera body (made by Olympus, Panasonic, and others).
The lens will focus to infinity perfectly and the Novoflex adapter contains no optical elements, but there will not be any communication between the Leica M mount lens and the Micro Four Thirds camera body. You can use the lens in the fully manual exposure mode, or in the aperture-priority mode autoexposure.
There are some particularly special Leica M mount lenses in the world, and this adapter allows the use of those gems on another body system. Only the shallow flange-to-sensor distance of the Four Thirds system allows such cross-pollination; the bigger SLR systems of Canon, Nikon, Pentax, and Sony cannot accept such lenses without additional glass in between the lens and body, which would essentially negate all the advantages of those lovely Leica M mount optics.

Comments about Novoflex Lens Mount Adapter - Leica M Lens to Micro Four-Thirds Camera Body:
I purchased this adapter to let me shoot my legacy 35mm lenses. It works perfectly. As for the legacy lenses, they were fantastically expensive and I sorely missed auto-focusing and image stabilization. But this well-crafted adapter let me shoot them perfectily--with auto-exposure--on my Panasonic DMC GX1.

Comments about Novoflex Lens Mount Adapter - Leica M Lens to Micro Four-Thirds Camera Body:
I use the Novoflex adapter with my LUMIX GF1 and a Tele-Elmarit 90mm f.2.8 to add a 180 mm (equivalent) f 2.8 (!) that is compact, lightweight and sharp to my kit. Manual focusing is no big deal but it is a bit of a nuisance to remember to stop down the aperture before shooting. Auto exposure works fine using aperture-preferred mode. Just remember to set the camera to "SHOOT W/O LENS" mode. Along with the kit lens, I have the equivalent of 28-90mm + 180mm lenses in a super compact kit.
