With exceptional surround sound reproduction and HD Deep Color processing Onkyo introduces the TX-SR307 5 x 65W 5.1-Channel Home Theater Receiver. Specifically designed for budget-minded home entertainment enthusiasts, this powerful receiver features (3) HDMI 1080p/24Hz x.v.Color HD inputs, (2) component video inputs, and optical/coaxial digital audio inputs. In the convenience of your own home, you can finally watch your favorite movies come alive with Blu-ray video compatibility. Its low-noise signal output is achieved with a High Current Power Supply (H.C.P.S.). Also, enjoy the ability to connect your iPod and other portable audio players to the receiver's front-panel mini-jack input.
Onkyo includes 192KHz/24-bit audio processing technology to create a wider, more enveloping surround sound experience. It features built-in Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro-Logic IIx, DTS, DTS Neo:6, and (4) DSP game surround modes. In addition, exclusives like Audyssey 2EQ Room Correction, Audyssey Dynamics EQ, CinemaFILTER, and Music Optimizer offer a pristine audio output. With an AM/FM radio tuner, A/B speaker switching, RI system control, and connectivity to virtually any A/V source you can imagine, your entertainment choices are endless with the Onkyo TX-SR307.
- HDMI x3 1080p/24Hz Deep Color Inputs
- If you're looking to pump high-definition DVD playback into your HD displays or projectors, this receiver will do the job. It has a high-bandwidth processor capable of transferring 1080p through the HDMI (ver. 1.3a) output; this technology ensures Blu-ray video compatibility.
- High Current Power Supply (H.C.P.S.)
- It features a Massive High Power Transformer for audio and video processing, which shields out unwanted magnetic fields. Built with over-sized capacitors capable of delivering breathtaking headroom, with an outstanding audio signal-to-noise.
- 5.1-Channel Digital Audio Decoding
- It uses specific Dolby Digital and DTS codecs to reproduce an enveloping 5.1-Channel surround sound experience. The unit decodes Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic IIx, DTS, and DTS Neo:6.
- Audyssey 2EQ Room Correction
- For enhanced room acoustics, Onkyo's Audyssey 2EQ technology is included with this unit. Audyssey 2EQ is designed to work with home theater systems to create a larger, fuller listening area without distorting the sound.
- Audyssey Dynamic EQ
- When the output volume is adjusted, this feature selects the best possible frequency response and surround sound levels with minimal audio distortion.
- Optimum Gain Control
- This receiver has the ability to adjust the gain allowing for less noise contamination especially at lower volumes.
- Component Video and Digital Audio
- It features (2) component video inputs for high-resolution low-distortion video playback, and optical/coaxial digital audio inputs for high quality audio reproduction.
- iPod Connectivity
- Remote Interactive (RI) capability enables you to simply connect your iPod to your receiver through Onkyo's RI Dock option for the iPod (DS-A2, DS-A2X). Your iPod effectively becomes another Onkyo component flowing through the TX-SR307.
- CinemaFILTER Technology
- Onkyo's proprietary CinemaFILTER restores the correct tonal balance to movie soundtracks that can otherwise be edgy and bright when played back over home audio equipment - this is because film soundtracks are designed to be played back in large theaters, using commercial equipment.
- Theater-Dimensional Circuitry
- With this mode you can enjoy a virtual 5.1 surround sound even with only 2 or 3 speakers. This is achieved by controlling how sounds reach your left and right ears. The listening angle can be set at either 20° or 40°.
- Front-Panel Audio Jack
- It offers a front-panel mini jack input, for accessible connectivity for your iPod, MP3 or other portable audio devices.
- Color-Coding System
- Onkyo takes the guesswork out of the installation process with an easy-to-use surround sound channel color-coding system.
- Built-In AM/FM Tuner
- Enjoy your favorite radio broadcasts with surround sound processing, with the built-in AM/FM wide-band tuner.
- Full-Feature Remote Control
- Included with this receiver is a full-feature remote control, capable of executing every command from any angle up to ±30°.
