Lectrosonics Right Angled TA3 and TA5-Female Connector Kit
This Lectrosonics Right Angle T Connector Kit is intended to build a right angle connector for use with the SR receiver for Lectrosonics transmitters.
The versatile kit may be wired with either the 3-pin or 5-pin connectors. The 3-pin configuration is normally used for the rear panel audio outputs of the SR receiver. The 5-pin configuration is the standard connector for most Lectrosonics bodypack transmitters.

Lectrosonics made a very nice right angle kit, you can make either a three (3) pin or a five (5) pin Female connector.

We have a classroom with Beyerdynamic table top mics. The mini-XLR connectors stick straight out the back of the mic, and students were breaking them with their backpacks when they entered and exited the table area.
We needed 90-degree mini-XLR connectors to point the mic cables downward rather than outward and minimize the area exposed to damage from "brush-by" contact. These connectors are very high quality and they did the trick; they are also the only ones we could find in this 90-degree configuration.
Rated four stars because they're at least 4x as expensive as they should be. Because we need a lot of them, we even contacted the manufacturer but they would not sell direct.
