Comments about Motorola FV300 Talkabout Two-Way Walkie-Talkie Radio ("AAA" Batteries):
great radio...simple to use, small size. ability to talk with another person out of site, fairly long battery life.
Used this product while hunting.
No back light, difficult to see numbers in sunlight, for some the small size may be too small. However, it worked well for me (us).

Comments about Motorola FV300 Talkabout Two-Way Walkie-Talkie Radio ("AAA" Batteries):
I got these walkie talkies for my 3 1/2 year old daughter for Christmas. The size is great, very small and portable. They are very simple in design and are extremely easy to use. My daughter has difficulty holding down the button while talking, but that's just because she's young. Otherwise, they seem to be clear and work well. I'm not sure about reception at great distances since we've only used them inside our house, but they work well for us. We did get some interference from someone else's signal, but it's easy to change the channel setting. Overall, I think they're a great value for a low price.

I am a journalist from India and recently broght a pair on a visit to US. When I came back and try the sets, one of them was not functional. My suggestion is that quality of the product is not up to the mark

Comments about Motorola FV300 Talkabout Two-Way Walkie-Talkie Radio ("AAA" Batteries):
Product is easy to use and the instructions are clear. I can see why some people get disappointed, as the distance is greatly reduced when in urban areas. However this is clearly specified by the manufacturer on the box and instructions. We have used these camping and the distance was dramatically increased. Great product for the money.
