International orders*The Vixen Digiscoping Balance Rail is a ~6" (150mm) long chunk of metal with a track-slotted screw for your spotting scope and a 1/4"-20 socket for your tripod head on the bottom.
When you've attached a digital camera to the rear of a Geoma spotting scope, the ideal balance point of the scope/eyepiece/camera combination changes-because the assembly's rear gains weight, it would be better if the scope's tripod foot was ahead of the tripod head's center. This rail allows that change, minimizing vibration, and has enough travel for the scope mounting screw to achieve an ideal balance no matter which Geoma scope + eyepiece/adapter/camera combination you're using.

Comments about Vixen Optics Digiscoping Balance Rail:
I did a lot of research looking for this type of balance rail, one that was simple in design and didn't cost an arm and leg. I'm using this primarily on a spotting scope that is not balanced once it is mounted on a tripod. This balance rail meets every expection. Thanks B&H photo and Vixen Optics for a great product.
