I use this notebook to check and send email, check on my stocks and to keep updated on news on my commute to and from work. The built in wireless works great and draws a great signal compared to my previous "smartphone". The touchpad is easy to use and with 3 usb ports installing a wireless mouse and external cd/dvd burner is easy. The big hard drive is excellent and surprisingly fast. The only thing I would change is perhaps a bump to 2gb of RAM. I average over 7 hours of battery life. The keyboard is very easy and comfortable to use and I am a large man. Has plenty of speed and power to view YouTube et al videos.

Bought the 11.6 screen size unit, and it set up fine. Keypad a bit too sensitive, but that is fixable. Twice, in mid-email review, unit totally locked up. Touch pad useless, laser mouse useless, CTR-ALT-DEL = even that was useless. Even the power on/off button would not shut it down. The only way to shut machine down was to pull battery pack! Needless to say, unit has been returned. Have not decided whether to buy another Acer, or move to an HP.

The hardest part I found was typing on it. Its small and takes some getting used to. Everything else on works well. Its pretty quick on the web.

Bought this mico pc for my son for school. Setup was easy. Great little PC to have around the house
for e-mail or web surfing. Battery life is at least 5 hrs. of heavy use. Good size key board and good screen size and res. This could be used as a main PC for most people except for video editing or gaming. Will see how it holds up over time and use.
How could you go wrong for $300.00 An I-pod Touch is $250!

We just returned from a trip where he used it every day to monitor his stocks. I bought it for him because I didn't want to schlep my heavier laptop everywhere we travel. This netbook is lightweight, yet the keys are plenty large for a man's hands. It will be one well-traveled netbook. What's not to love about it?

I use this product at school for note taking and online assignments, and it is awesome. It is very portable and surprisingly quick for its economical price tag. This is a great machine for students to take with them in their college years. It even works for adults in the workplace as a note taker at meetings, and it's light weight makes it comparable to a conventional notepad.

This is perfect for traveling. No CD drive, but that's what a netbook is - for the internet.

Got this for an upcoming trip. Connects great to wifi - I've tried it in a few spots and it does a good jump jumping on. It really preforms better than I expected it would. This isn't the machine to get if you are running any heavy apps for video or photo suites, but for getting on the internet and your local network this does it's job quite well. Oh, the battery life is great so far. I've gotten at least 7 hours off each charge.
