Ikan FDD-TW Track Wheel Set
The Ikan FDD-TW is a set of track wheels for the Doorway Dolly. This wheel set replaces the floor wheel set that comes with the Doorway Dolly. These skateboard type wheels allow the dolly to operate on standard dolly track.

We have fixed them to a strong wooden thick surface to create a travelling assembling kit for a 12kgs tripod and a technician on it and it works great even on plastic tracks.
A brilliant travelling for that price for indoor shootings! (Preserve them in their individual boxes while not in use to keep the wheels as brand-new.)

i have built 2 dolly's and a camera slider with these. If you can find a 12mm wingnut and rubber washer it makes it really easy to change the wheels from each platform but keep the wheels stable. Or switch them out for a slightly smaller screw like a 3/8 but drill a 5/8's hole which will give you a little play if your track isn't perfect. My set came a bit stiff which works well if you put a lot of weight on them but you can loosen them easily with the right wrench.
If you want a Pro wheel set for your DIY dolly It's totally worth the money.

I've used these Ikan skateboard wheels on my home made dolly. For their price, they work extremely well, delivering smooth movement on straight tracks (I have not tried curved tracks with these wheels yet). Just like any skateboard wheels, you need to keep moving the dolly to keep the wheels round before every shot. If you're on a tight budget and still want the production valuse of a dolly then consider these wheels.

I made portable DIY tripod dolly with this wheel sets. Smooth and silent action. Very easy assembling - make one hole and this is it! The only thing I have to do - to change bolts to longer ones. DIN metric M12 bolts from nearest hardware store is ok. The wheel sets I've received are black, not white as on photo. I thought it would slightly ligter - one wheel assemble weights 655 g (23.1 oz). Sorry for my poor english.
