Works better than expected. I was leary of this unit because of reviews on some other sites(visibilty angle, audio switching for wake up, brightness, etc.), but all the concerns were proven to not be true with this unit from B&H. My wife's iPhone has a hard cover on it and it fits in the cradle and charges with no problem. I am glad this works so well, because it is the only model I could find with all the functions in one unit(iPhone charger, alarm clock, and NOAA alert with S.A.M.E.) Only Con is the Remote control buttons are small and don't seem very responsive to unit, maybe I am holding it at a wierd angle, not sure where IR receiver is, not a big enough problem to bother to see where it is, don't really use it or need it.

[$] for a clock radio that charges 2 iPhones (or iPods). The sound is remarkably good and loud. The aux input is useful. It even has a remote. The only thing it doesn't have (but should) is an AM radio. It's got FM and weather band. All in all, this is a remarkably good product and a great price.

We love having the weather radio built into the alarm clock. We use the iPod dock to charge our iPods. This one device replaces our old alarm clock, an iPod charger, and a weather radio. The only negative is that the clock is angled and can be hard to read. Overall, we are very happy with this purchase.

This clock does not snooze with a 3rd gen ipod touch. I use snooze alot, so this made the clock useless for me. In general the ipod connectivity is glitchy with both iphones and ipods. I contacted tech support, and although they were very nice, they did not have a solution. I was expected to wait until a firmware update. I'm not very confident I will be contacted. I would not recommend purchasing from iluv. If your product has glitches you should be offering a fix, not an apology. I'm back to my old radio alarm and this [$] thing sits on the desk waiting for its miracle cure.

The "fade-in" transition between functions as well as alarm is great. The NOAA and SAME network works fine. Controls are nice as well as the remote. There is only one design defect in the viewing angle of the display. You have to be at a 30% declining viewing angle to see the display when the brightness is between 1 and 7. You cannot see the display straight-on up close or at a distance display when the back-light/brightness is turned on. They should have made the front display a swivel. It is more for on a desk than on a distant nightstand or chest of drawers. Overall a very good product and does a classy job with two chargers for i(products). Great space saver....replaces charging cords and plug-ins.

This alarm clock/radio is great for couples as well as those who lead busy schedules and need to know the weather, charge multiple devices, listen to music, and wake up on time. How could you ask for more! We would have had to buy two separate alarm clock/charging docks for our phones & ipods had we not stumbled upon this great find.
