Eleven LE from M-Audio is a guitar amplifier emulation plug-in that lets you achieve highly realistic guitar tones based on some of the most coveted vintage and modern tube amplifiers, speaker cabinets and microphones - all within a Pro Tools M-Powered or other Pro Tools system.
Eleven LE gives you instant access to an amazing collection of sounds based on classic Fender, VOX, Marshall, Mesa/Boogie and Soldano amplifiers. Simply call up a preset, or design your own signature sound by mixing and matching amplifiers, speaker cabinets and microphones.
The plug-in employs the modeling approach in which every stage of the amp's signal path is modeled. This results in the software capturing and re-creating the nuances that make a guitar/amplifier combo sound like the real thing, including power amplifier sag, speaker cone breakup, cabinet resonance, ghost notes, and more.
Eleven allows you to fine-tune the amount of speaker cone breakup for any setup. Depending on the amount of power (wattage) driving the speaker, the cone will begin to vibrate at different rates as the volume is increased. Many of the greatest guitar tones ever recorded owe their presence and sizzle to this naturally occurring "cone breakup" effect.
