I have always been a sony fan and this product shows how I will continjue to love sony. Picture quality is superb with my gaming and blu rays just straight superb. The only thing I have a complaint about is that the remote response is a little slow but that's all that I could find.

I purchase this HDTV for the den replacing my 27 year old Zenith 27" CRT (this TV has served me well). The Sony weighed less than half of the clunky CRT. The setup was a snap and the setup guide was most helpful. The picture is better than that of the demo I saw at the membership warehouse. Even on extreme angles, the picture is clear. I would definitely recommend the Sony KDL-40V5100 to anyone.

I love this TV. I use it in my living room on a daily basis and I have no complaints at all. I find it very easy to use and I love all the features. I recommend this product to anyone looking for great quality at an affordable price.

[...]. 10+The TVI compared the V, W and XBR and the V series seem the best for the money. I wanted 120Hz and at least 3 HDMI ports.I like the picture better than comparable products by other companies. My viewing is occasional movies (some Blu-ray), but mostly typical TV shows in a well lit living room. Other pictures from other companies just did not seem as clear (defined and accurate) and glare is not an issue with the finish on the Sony.The setup menu was a bit confusing at first regarding "TV" setting versus the HDMI inputs (which I am using). I have the cable box plugged into an HDMI connection and was initially confused when I could not get anything on the "TV" setting. I have yet to attempt much for fine tuning since the standard set up seems fine for me.My cable provider has about 20 HD channels and unless there is something only available on a SD station, all I really watch is the HD. FANTASTIC.The 'Sync' is a nice feature. I have a Sony Blu-ray. I pop in a movie and the set automatically switches to the player.The remote control is very feature packed and well laid out, but I need to use the one from my cable provider to change channels, so I end up using it most and only use the Sony remote for configuration changes.I would not hesitate to recommend this TV to anyone. But be forewarned, once you have seen your favorite show in HD, nothing else comes close!!

If your looking for a high end HD LCD Sony's Bravia is one of the best in the market. The V series is in the mid range of the line that offers superior quality.

[...] TV is pretty good overall. Motion blur is near non-existent on it being a 120hz. Colors are pretty sharp and pop out at you if you want them to. One thing to note is that you need to have off or on low advanced auto contrast or dark scenes will flicker the screen. Overall good buy though!

This Sony HDTV is the best! It replaced a Dynex, I should have bought this HDTV first, and saved some cash. This thing has it all. Great picture quality, resolution, color, clarity, atractive cabinet, and the things that you can connect to this baby, Unbelievable!!! So yes I would buy this again, and I did, I bought the Sony 26" for the computer room. I have had them now for a month,and can't find anything wrong with them yet. Thanks [...]

I had this in this Thanks Giving(2009)from B&H. First I must appreciate that B&H has a very prompt and efficient service. Some of the review made me confused and I expected a damaged pack, but to the contrary we had a excellent timely service to our door step. The person who delivered got us the system checked before he left. I will give 5 star to the same.

I am not a technical person but a normal household user. I must say that it has a excellent reception even from a house hold antenna leave cable connection which is off course great. Even from lap top it has a excellent reception so now we have a big screen to watch internet programs.

The only thing I feel it is weak compared to all the features is the sound, and that may be most people put up a sound system seperate from the TV. You have to keep the sound way above 50 points to listen clearly.

Great TV for any one to have at the price it is available - do not get a 60Hz TV any more even they are going to discounted as there will be no service soon for them also not so good to watch from internet.

We bought this TV for Christmas for our bedroom. We don't watch much TV, but we like to watch movies. It was very easy to set up and figure out. It has a lot different inputs (more than one of each kind) so any device we could possibly want to connect can be connected. It's nice looking and has a very good picture. We are happy with it.

The screen finish performs well in my room with lots of ambient light. Picture appears very high quality (I'm not a total videofile, but it looks great), and all the controls (menus) are really simple. Also, I like all the Bravia link stuff to integrate my whole thater together well.

This Sony product is exactly as expected. Though for best results you need to have the HDMI cable which is not part of the package.In fact if you have HDMI output to your computer, it can be used to play videos from your computer as well. Or simply use as a large screen for browsing. It is very very crisp.[...]

I've had the tv for about a month, the picture quality is great and the 120hz is very noticeable. i didnt see much difference between 120 and 240hz tv's but definatly notice it between 60 and 120 with the motionflow. works great for ps3 and if you want to use it as an HD monitor for a pc(which is what i mainly use it for).
