Took the new camera to the Persian Gulf Countries. I was able to to take pictures within minutes, installed batteries and card without help and I am an octogenarian.
I got marvelous shots of camels with tourists on their humps; ladies in black cover-ups (from the rear) carrying bags with designer labels, holding cell phones and pushing shopping carts. The pictures of the buildings in downtown Dubai on a sunny day should be in "Architectural Digest". The Mosque interiors glow and the faces of the Western tourists clearly reflect a good attitude.
Downloading at the camera store was a breeze, and next time I will try it at home on my own computer. I took hundreds of pictures without running out of film or worrying about the cost of film and development.
Oh that I had had this adorable little pocket size marvel of 21st century technology on all my other trips abroad.

Experienced amateur. Use it for family parties and travel.
Easy to use,auto setting takes the guess work out of the equation and produces great results. HD video screen, review button and manual features are great features.
There is my fifth point and shoot from Canon. I like it almost as much as my S10. There isn't anything that isn't great about this gem of a camera.
