Comments about Canon PowerShot SD960 IS Digital Camera (Blue):
Was looking for a solid point-and-shoot, for a good price, that could also double as my go-to video camera. This was among the least expensive cameras that had the HD video and reviews of good photo quality. I've had the camera for a couple of weeks now and I'm happy with it. Pretty basic functions but I wasn't looking for too many extras or manual settings. Nice auto features that detect when you're taking a portrait, close-up, etc. I'd definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a good value in a simple no-fuss point-and-shoot. I was between this one and the Canon SD1400 but ended up deciding that the sleekness/slimmer size of the 1400 wasn't worth the extra $40.

I lost this same camera a few months ago. Bought a cheap Sanyo.; hoping my trusty Canon would show up. It didn't.
The Sanyo didn't come close to the picture quality of this Canon.
I re-bought the identical Canon; and I'm back to taking high-quality, no-brainer photos.
Really superb vacation photos. In good light, for a point and shoot; it can't be beat.

Bought this camera for my 13 yr old daughter. She found it very easy to use and was taking pictures and videos and uploading them to Facebook in no time.
I personally use DSLR's and found the picture quality to be remarkably good. I would recommend getting a better wrist strap, but, other than that, a decidedly excellent P&S camera.

This camera is easy to pick up and use. The controls are easy to navigate. the picture quality is great. Takes great pics in lowlight.
The main issue I have is the long lag time shutter delay which makes it hard to take several photos in quick succession.

I love photography and want to capture all beautiful moments of my life and not only pictures but Pictures with true emotions, Pictures with beautiful backgrounds, Pictures with natural beauty.
I used other competitive brand products but did not get the clairty what I received from this product.
It is the BEST example of ROI (Return on Imagination). What you see, what you imagine.....It should be captured in the same way for rest of your life.
Finally, Go for it.............

Comments about Canon PowerShot SD960 IS Digital Camera (Blue):
Plenty of settings to play around with, between color replacement/highlight, stitch assist, ISO3200, and many more. Finding just the right setting can be a bit confusing at first, with so many settings to choose from, but that's the price of having options! The HD video is surprisingly good. The underwater mode works well for diving, and there are two great underwater cases that can be bought for the camera. Great battery life, too.

Comments about Canon PowerShot SD960 IS Digital Camera (Blue):
I bought this camera for my girlfriend for our one year anniversary and it has been a great purchase. It is pretty top of line with the features, such as 12.1 megapixels, HD video, and the hard to find color accent feature where you can take black and white pictures with one color accent. As far as I know, cannon is the only manufacturer with this feature, and this is the only new point and shoot camera that has it too. So far I haven't really found anything I really dislike, except for maybe its a little complicated to use, but I've only had it about a week or two and I'm not the most experience photographer either.

I have this camera and the underwater housing. I used it over the weekend down to 80ft with great results, with and without flash. The underwater case has a diffuser which helps. The underwater video was not the greatest but it will do. The battery lasted about 3 hours but I was taking alot of video during this time. I believe it will last a lot longer when in photo mode as long as you place IS to shoot only mode. The viewfinder is large enough underwater. Over all I am really satisified with this point and shoot camera and housing.

i cant stop using this camera, even for the silliest moments. but it is at the great one's that this camera can make that great moment seem even better... the quality, the shutter speed and the simple fact that experiencing all the great options this cam has to offer is just fun, makes it all just really worth having. even at full zoom, the quality is beyond good. whenever i get to use it, i cant seem to stop :)

Very nice camera. Easily light years better than the 6 year old Canon S500 it replaced. Comfortable size and very convenient. Screen is very nice. Only complaint is it takes a few too many steps to erase. My old camera had an erase button on the back. Otherwise great P&S. Don't expect it to be a DSLR. We keep a small P&S for days when we don't want to carry the full size gear.

I bought this one for my daughter, she was using SD950IS prior. Definitely better than 950IS, and IMHO, one of the best wide angle carry around.
