The Toshiba 26AV502R 26" 720p HD LCD TV offers a wide array of benchmark features and convenience functions at a very attractive price point.
The Cinespeed panel's 8ms response time coupled with a 60HZ video scan rate ensure that action sequences and gaming are smooth and judder-free. Cinema Mode 24 fps provides a film-like experience from source material (ex Hollywood) shot at that frame rate.
An ATSC/NTSC/QAM enables reception of standard cable channels as well as off-air digital broadcasts and future-proofs the TV in advance of the nationwide digital changeover in June 2009. Channel Browser is a life raft for those who regularly surf the 500-1000 cable channels available. It allows scanning through the last 32 viewed channels, displaying screen images for the last 5 watched, by channel, favorites or source input.
The 26AV502R is equipped with DynaLight Dynamic Back-Light Control, which provides deep blacks, rich shadows and smooth color transition, as well as 2 HDMI inputs for 1-cable HD connection between your TV and digital sources.

I was looking for a tv with a great picture at a great price. I've been very satisfied with this tv and enjoy the many easy to use features. The sound quality is great for the space I have it in, but I imagine in a larger space it might not work well.

Good picture quality. Speakers leave a little to be desired. The reason I bought this particular model is because of the game mode. The game made just doesnt work right, it makes everything really jittery. What nice is my games look and play fine without the game mode, so its no big deal. Overall good buy.
