My husband and I put this TV for watching programs in the morning and late evening and also for watching movies. It has a pretty nice picture quality, much better than you would expect for its size and price. The softer end of the volume scale is not too quiet, which is a problem on our other TV (not this one). We bought it specifically because of the built-in DVD player, which has worked quite well. The remote is a bit hard to use because it is poorly labeled, though.

Bought this for my son's room for his computer and also to function as a TV/DVD. The TV/DVD function great, picture is a good quality, sound is good. Buttons on the remote are layed out in a weird way so its not the easiest remote to use.
The main problem is it doesn't work at 1680x1050 resolution! The EDID info the monitor gives to the OS says 1680x1050 43hz but when you select that resolution it says NO INPUT. Requests to COBY Support for a monitor.inf or custom EDID go unanswered. I've tried 2 computers and 3 different video cards. Right now I have to run the monitor at 1280x1024 and it doesn't look right.

Except for the pinhole in the screen which is visible when the screen is a solid dark color in that area, the picture is clear.
The remote is very annoying and doesn't function very well at all. It is not very user friendly, and the buttons do not seem to function well and connect with the TV to cause the desired effect. We have a Coby 19" essentially the same TV with a dvd player on the side. Its remote is wonderful, easy to use and responsive.

Use this in my bedroom and it works well. Just using a set of rabbit ear antennae. It get 4 of 5 local stations with good reception. I don't know if it because I am using rabbit ears but the sound sync is off a bit from lips to audio. It's only noticeable when it is a close-up of the speaker.

I use this tv in my dorm room at college and its great. All the big footballs games are seen in HD with clear picture and good sound quality. The only thing i would change is the remote. Sometimes you have to aim it directly to the tv to get the signal and the buttons are placed in awkward positions. Other than that it is a great TV.
