The POV Lens Shield from V.I.O. makes the already durable POV camera head, even more so. Designed specifically for use when the camera head is mounted to an off road vehicle, the Lens Shield is ideal for off road trophy truck racing, rally car racing, and dirt bikes.
Simply clean the image head lens and the POV Lens Shield with a soft cloth first. Then attach the Lens Shield to the Image Head by firmly pressing the shield onto the Image Head and you're ready to go out and ride, drive, or just plain tear it up. You'll be confident in knowing that your POV camera head has the extra protection it needs while you're out having all the fun you want.

Comments about V.I.O. POV Lens Shield:
A bit difficult to get air out as it is initially installed due to the air tight seal, but it performs as advertised once you get it installed.

Comments about V.I.O. POV Lens Shield:
Great. Fits tight so won't come off.
Worried it will get cracked in transit when not being used, a little case would be worth the few extra dollars.

Comments about V.I.O. POV Lens Shield:
Why risk a $150+ replacement camera when you can buy this to protect it.
It comes with 2 covers and a mount for the front of the lens. If you are going to be using the Vio POV in ANY area where the camera might get dusty, scratched, muddy etc... then this will protect the front glass.

Comments about V.I.O. POV Lens Shield:
Nice little investment for [$]. Protectected the camera head on more than one face plant in the whislter Mt Bike Park. Fits securely and does not distort the camera view.

Comments about V.I.O. POV Lens Shield:
I use the lens shield with my VIO POV1.5 on my Mtn BIke and Dirt Bike and it works great. The fit is super snug so no debris gets onto the lens itself and with the rubber surrounding the lens I am no longer worried about hitting the camera on branches, etc... I have not tried it under water as yet, but I'm confident water can't get under the rubber seal, the fit is that tight. For [$], it is cheap peace of mind.
