O Transceiver de Rádio Escravo PocketWizard FlexTT5 é parte de um sistema de rádio escravo ultraversátil, dedicado especificamente para o sistema de controle de flash Nikon i-TTL. I have been desperately waiting for this system to come out since they offered it for Canon almost 3 yrs ago! After an unsuccessful experience with Radio Poppers I was THRILLED to see these available from B&H! I have the TT1 Mini and 2 Of the Flex 5's and they work flawlessly with my 5 Plus 2 Pw's that I already have and add so much more!! Remote manual control with a commander flash, SU800 or the AC3 (I also have and works well) And there are no cords, they store easily in my bag, fire very reliably, and generally just Work! In true PW fashion! They are worth every penny! BUY THEM! Not to mention the uses are expanded to studio strobes like Alien Bee and Elenchrome lights. The Hyper Sync is amazing! Super high shutter sync with studio strobe power = awesome! Highly recommend!! Oh and the construction is surprisingly stronger than it looks!! I dropped one of my Flex 5's with an SB900 on it about 6 ft on to a hardwood floor and the only thing that happened was the battery door popped off. It was easily put back on and works just as it did before. :D I have shot several portrait sessions and a wedding with them in the 2 weeks that I've had them and I am completely satisfied!! The only minor thing to get used to is when you make a settings change it requires a test shot to get all the lights calibrated... It's easy to get used to though.

I purchased two TT5's and one TT1 for my Nikon D700 to pair up with two of my SB-900's to give me all the creative options available with Nikon's CLS, but without the restrictions of line of sight. They work great in terms of always flashing when they are supposed too, and they are super lightweight and compact, and give you a lot of options. However, they have one major flaw. Combined with an D700 and SB-900 they over-expose by exactly 2 stops every time. I am working with PW tech support, but thus far they indicate they cannot reproduce the issue. However, I have seen multiple forums indicating the same problem. I am confident this will be worked out in time with a S/W fix, but it's frustrating to deal with until then. Overall I am happy with the flexibility the PW's provide, but they need to work the bugs out before putting the product on the shelves.

I use the Mini TT1, three Flex TT5's and the AC3 controller.Best combination for wireless flash triggering.I had experimented the the Nikon CLS system which is very good in some circumstances,but the new Pocket Wizards are exceptional in all enviroments,you get the most out of your flash in terms of functionality.One is able to run multiple flashes in i TTL mode and manual side by side,using the AC-3 you can dial in compensation,etc.
This is the gold standard for wireless triggering midnight or midday no problem.
Don't know if it can get any better than this!

I use the slaves mostly for portrait work. They are flawless. Much easier to use than the i-ttl system built into Nikon and more reliable. No more line of site issues. Worth the money.

I recently purchased this radio slave, and thus far have been very happy with it. At this point I only have the FlexTT5 and a mini, but intend to add additional units for more complex shoots. The majority of my pictures are taken on location, and this will save me a TON of time. I usually spend a bit of time metering/adjusting my flash, then reviewing the LCD before actually photographing the subject. I needed this product 15 years ago, but I'm happy to have it now.

I use the FlexTT5 (4 of them) with my Nikon Speedlights for sports action portraits. The combination of the FlexTT5 along with the MiniTTI and AC3 Zone Controller has been a joy to work with. After a brief firmware check and review of a couple pocketwizard getting started videos I was ready to go. Highly recommend these items to any photographer needing a smart strobe remote system.

I found these to be very difficult. I am a professional and know what I am doing. I am using a D3s and sb 900's off camera. These things work half the time. You have to turn the equipment on in a certain order, and if you make any changes in camera or on the flash, you have to go through the whole process again. They are great in theory, I just expected pocket wizard to make them more user friendly and reliable before releasing them on the market. Unless there is a firmware upgrade soon I will be getting rid of mine. And I know several other professionals in the same boat. I really do not understand how they got such good ratings by so many others.

I just switched from a "brand x" radio slave all because of this little item. No more mounting a slave on my camera and using a cord to fire it. Slip it on the hotshoe and go. Live is good!

I borrowed a colleges Radio Poppers for a couple of shoots. They take the exspensive cr123 batts,(don't like that)I tested them for distance and couldn't get more than about 100ft away, and then they didn't fire every time..Decided to go with PW and all flex's instead of one mini for the camera. The mini takes a different odd-ball battery, and it's not a transceiver like the flexes so not as veratile. They work great, I've read reviews saying they are hard to set up and unreliable? These reviews must be from people that don't read the manual. Used correctly they work perfectly, every time. I use the AC-3 zone controller which is great. I can shoot with SB800's in bright sunlight all the way to 1/8000 sec no problem. I also purchased the AC-9 controllers for my Alien Bee's and they work great as well.

I use these for portrait photography and still life and anywhere else that I need remote control of my speedlights.
I purchased 3 Flex TT5's, 1 for transmitter and 2 for speedlights. I use an SB600 and an SB910. I also purchased the AC3 zone controller. I found that all together they work great for controlling light remotely. The AC3 zone controller allows you to use your light in iTTL mode or in manual mode (speedlights are always set in TTL mode whether it is manual or TTL and the AC3 controls iTTL or Manual).
After the purchase I found that the SB910 is not compatible with this system at this time but they are working on a firmware for it and sent me a beta version.
I have found that occasionally they just lose communication and something has to be recycled to get it back, usually the remote light. You have to follow the instructions for turning them on starting at the top and working down to the TT5 and back to the camera.
On the downside, I planned on using them with my L758DR and spent several days trying to get that to work correctly. After communication with the company, that is when I found that they don't support the SB910 (the SB600 did work correctly without the change in configuration mentioned below). I did finally figure out a way to get the manual mode to work. Set the flex to basic trigger, disable x-sync, flashes are set to manual mode. So I have one configuration for TTL and the other for manual. I find that it is easier to just set my sekonic to flash reading and fire the speelights from my camera rather than changing all the settings and putting my speedlights in manual mode. Apparently Sekonic is working on a new radio module that will support the control TTL channels so this should work better in the future.
Overall I am happy with this purchase and think that they will meet my needs.

Works ridiculously well!! Ignore the negative feedback these have received from others... The one trick that makes everything work correctly when utilizing these is to turn your equipment on from the top down, i.e. Power on Speedlight, then FlexTT5.

I purchased the Flex TT5 Tranceiver Radio slave for outdoor portraits. Setup was easy and the system worked as promised. I do recommend purchasing a AC3 zone controler to control multiple flashes. You do have to raise the antennas on the units to work properly.
