Comments about Profoto Double Case:
-The design has changed since the photo tagged with this listing (as of 27 nov 2010) - (The one I got looks a little classier in my opinion) I also have the case for the AcuteB which appears very similar to the picture listed. The newer design of this d1 case that I received is much more robust than that, with semi-rigid side walls. Both of my compact 600's lay in the case horizontally, one on top of the other with just enough room for the cords. No room for reflectors. It would not be long enough to fit a compact 1200.
The case is reasonably good protection for car transport. I don't think it would be enough protection for checked airline baggage. OK for carry on though.

Used it to store/carry a spare Profoto Compact, can tell you that its a bit of a squeeze but fits alright lengthwise. The top flap is gray, not black, like it appears in the pic, for those of you that care, ahah.
